You still aren't. Neither are we. CTBT/NPT/FMCT all are worse than poison, at least for us at the moment.

We're inclined towards NPT, but won't sign it. Our demands were simple, recognize us as a nuclear power, which they won't. Anyway, ki fark painda?

AQ Khan issue has been resolved and is in the dustbin of history. Now grow up, evolve and move on.

Musharaf begged U.S for AQ Khan otherwise this issue was going to rock international arena.
Charges were serious and countries like libya,north korea and iran were involved in this.

Who knows what U.S got from this?

Who needs an arbitrary badge of "nuclear power". Produce 300 1MT warheads, load them on A5/K5. Put additional 300 in non-dgrading cocoons, and voila!

NPT states are more fukked than either one of us. The technology is not that complex anyways, once you have crossed the detonation and cold-test threshold. You need a basic super computer at 10+TF to do such simulations. I have one AT HOME, built of 64 + 64 basic cores + 12 Nvidia Tesla GPU's running open source parallel processing software (i am using it for financial modeling). The problem is that their assumptions about us were wrong from day one, they always thought what will these "brown people" achieve anyways!

@Hyperion and @Armstrong

Imagine a scenario, you sign NPT and then you proliferate nuclear technology, it will end up with the nation getting sanctioned.

Now, you don't sign NPT, and you proliferate nuclear technology, you'll again end up getting sanctioned.

Mai bewakoof sala, ye samajh nahi paya, what's the use of wasting ink by signing those useless papers? It's The intent that matters, not some faked commitments. Isn't?

India officially have 300 kT yield thermonuclear warheads, but the design cannot be validated because of the political clout at the moment. But we have dozens of super computers, making much improvised devices wont be much of a problem.

It's important when they control major funds flowing in these developing nations.
