You think that we got so much money to gift away a multi million weapon system?!

When the advantages of it could be more worthier like having military presence we can spend . Seriously we have got good financial resources to spend for armed forces , its just they are not spending . Like now if our govt thinks seriously any time we want Su30 at Farkhor , we can have . Think of a multi directional attack on Pakistan . That would control pakistan's concentration on our main land .

This is a neutral move as always. You surely dont know who is going to be in power in future so you dont know if you really have an ally or not!!.

When we support militarily equipment that would be neutral of either govt .
Same is not the case with other facilities provided to Afghanistan like civil , hospitality etc . That would make us closer only to ruling govt .

It should be either pro taliban or anti taliban ,just like we have congress or bjp in india . Anti Taliban is present govt that favors to India . If we help them militarily , even if laden was the president of Afghan , he would have maintained good relations with India as we are their military allies .
