Lol @ conquered. We didn't have a country then. Our nation state came into being on August 15, 1947. The entity known as British India ceased to exist and what you got was a part of it. But I can see why someone from a country with nothing to cheer about would see that as "conquered".

Fact is, bangladesh is not even 17% the size of Pakistan. They become a seperate country for the same reason why india lost 35% of it's former territory in the creation of Pakistan. You CANNOT form a nation with people who are completely different to you in terms of race, genetics, DNA and heritage. Simple as.
