China's GDP in 1990 - 390,000

India's GDP in 1990 - 325,000

Today, China's economy is four times larger than India's economy, and growing faster too.

Clearly, the East Asian manufacturing-based model, has achieved much higher returns.

I am not doubting your model of development . never once did i do that . i was just countering CS's point in which he was trying to say that half of india would be very poor and half very rich if we didn't follow the manufacturing model .China is following the manufacturing model and india is following a different one still india is more equal .Worth pondering upon .

Btw , i am aware of these stats and am like most indians in awe of china's achievement and seek to emulate them but why do you keep posting them again and again ?this must be like the 100th time. India may catch up you know .

Let me tell you what is the tempo of this thread.

Russian PM's words are kind and diplomatic this how all civilized nations address each other. This is how they addressed Pakistani guests on there recent visit. Whats the big deal.

Most of the Indian posters have given very balanced answer vis a vis their friendship with Russia. Only they started returning they favour with the same tone when some Pakistani and Chinese posters including you started punching in the typical rants, like Russians are racists against Indians on the streets, India do not have UN Permanent membership, they are doing it because of Indian money blah blah.
Have a retrospect and read your own posts, your complexes and nervousness is pretty visible.

As far as this Particular fantastical (Your reasoning being that an alliance between India and Russia makes China nervous?) question is concerned then the best person to answer is you yourself. You tell us why some of you people are sounding nervous? Give us a break and talk on the topic in hand. We are pretty sought out people when we talk about our friends and enemies.

As far as trade and money involved in concerned then there are many paradoxes to present as an examples to bust typical rants that they are doing it for money and the contrasting example is China its self. Irrespective of blogger world's hostility, obvious on Pakistani website for some reasons we are trading with you in billions. Your premier came to India and signed new trade agreements again in billions with us. We didn't went on bluffing stats like Pakistan did.

As far as friendship going beyond money is concerned then we know what Russian did for us in 1971 war and just recently they busted Pakistani smuggling of weapon spares racket etc. There are many examples to ponder but i will not go in details. I am not interested in feeding the trolls and nitpickers.
