India puts up 'Death Trap' at border, Pak sees RED

Pakistani go all the time to kill your soldiers lol. I don't need to. If Pakistan gets its money right and really decides to fund Kashmiris and khalistanis then you will see. Hopefully in few years time we will be back on our feet. Indians on its Knees already economically without any of our problems lol so pathetic.

India won kargil politically. Pakistan won militarily lol.

His statements were politically motivated.

Who controls most of Kargil? So how could Pakistan have won it militarily?

And you were thrown out from 12 others, bag and baggage!! :omghaha:

Where killing of soldiers is concerned, according to numbers stated by Nawaz Sharif there were over 4,000 fatalities. His PML (N) party in its "white paper" on the war mentioned that more than 3,000 Mujahideen, officers and soldiers were killed.

India lost 523 soldiers.
@Tiger Awan , @hasnain0099 , @arushbhai , @cb4 , What you say about this?? How you defend your Ganja leader Nawaz Sharif?? Indian Officials claims 700 pak soldier killed in kargil ,Pak military claims 357-453 indian killed, but Nawaz sharif claims 3000+ killed?? What type of this competition with India's official claims?? India officials claims to 300 Qadam aagay aor yeh Ganja Nawaz sharif 3000 Qadam aagay!!

Great, from now on Pakistan cannot be blamed for the indigenous struggle of the Kashmiri freedom fighters, because as accepted by the Indians infiltration is impossible now:)

Indian army clearly won the kargil war... Indian army had an easy way to cut the supply but they not even done that respecting the line of control... Without that easy way they totally regains control of occupied territory ... india used its air force but pakistan not, thus complete dominance in air ... indian navy almost blocked pakistan's sea trade by operation talwar... By the end of the war, India had resumed control of all territory south and east of the Line of Control, as was established in July 1972 as per the Simla Agreement.

The claims are varied. ranging from 3000 to 500+.
Army's claims
Eleven years after the Kargil war, the Pakistan Army has quietly included the names of 453 soldiers and officers who were killed during the conflict on its website.
Pakistan lists Kargil war dead - The Hindu
PML-N's claim
3000
Independent claims
1000+
India's claims
Out of these, the bulk of casualties, an astonishing 72, have been listed as having occurred in the Batalik sector that saw some of the fiercest battles during the conflict. In its official records, the Indian Army has listed that 99 bodies of Pakistani soldiers were recovered in Batalik and most were buried in Indian territory. Indian records say a total of 249 bodies of Pakistani soldiers were recovered during the battle but estimates of total enemy casualties is put around 1000-1200.
Kargil: Pak suffered most casualties at Batalik - Indian Express
However, none of these can be verified because we don't have any fact finding body on the incident. It has become a national habit of dumping the critical failures and moving on.

Remember that the 453 jawans and officers whose deaths were acknowledged (finally) by ISPR does not include the "non state actors"/ mujahideens or whatever they were. Including them, Pakistan suffered far more casualties than India, and did not achieve its aims of cutting off Kashmir valley and capturing it. It is plain for anybody with common sense as to who won that war. Anyway, Kargil war is not the topic of the thread, the border fencing put up after 2004 is.

Pakistan had been offensive in the past wars with india.and in offensive operation one do gets more casaulties

In other words, Pakistan started all the previous wars, suffered more casualties, and did not achieve any of its objectives - ie, lost. Yes, true. If only some of your countrymen would realize this.

And since the infiltration has reduced to a trickle, there has been very little violence in Kashmir. You should notice the direct correlation there, that as soon as Pakistani infiltration stopped, Indian Kashmir became very peaceful. So you should understand that it was never an "indigenous freedom struggle", but a foreign instigated terror campaign. Also, why are so many Pakistanis saying that after 2014, NATO would leave Afghanistan, and then Kashmir violence would start again? Connect the dots, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Stop spewing your jingoism, we are not interested being lectured on who lost more soldiers and etc, as stated in one of the posts, their is no independent verification of how many soldiers were killed on either side of Line of control, so how did the militants manage to infiltrate on to the Indian side line of control?
Since the Line of control is heavily fenced and its impossible for anyone to cross over according to Indian sources.

Because the fencing began only in 2004, which is five years after the kargil war ended. Please read about the topic before frothing, otherwise you will end up looking foolish. As you just did.

Whatever Pakistanis are saying shouldn't matter to you since it's your claim that infiltration is simply impossible now. So if in the coming days if the Kashmiri freedom struggle gains momentum, be sure not to blame us.

As I said - once the fencing has been completed, and infiltration has come down considerably, the Indian state of Jammu-Kashmir is quiet and peaceful. More so than most of Pakistan. It is plain for anybody, where the cause of violence emanates from. Before threatening that Kashmir violence will gather momentum in the coming days, ask yourself why it lost momentum in the first place. And why that momentum has to wait for NATO's withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The answer is obvious - the momentum for troubles in Kashmir come from Pakistan and its paid goondas in afghanistan. Anyway, those days are gone now. The big, bad fence has seen to that.:victory:

Cool, so we have an agreement. Kashmir is all good and if anything happens their in the future, we are not to be blamed:)
