India: Powerful Nation, Pathetic People, Failed Democracy

We should accept that the people are pathetic as they will slowly lose their rights, language, culture and their ancestral signs. We can only expect something magic to happen among Indians who can suddenly wake up from their deep sleep to resurrect justice, secularism and true democracy.

So what kind of magic are we talking about??

Since Mr. Raj Palaniswamy is so well versed with India he should also suggest the exact nature of the magic he's talkin about.....also he should make us accept that we are pathetic people not necessarily just speakin.

I never understood the role of the Indian government in that conflict. It appears to have been ambiguous about whether it wanted to help the Tamils or the Sri Lankan government.

Calling the people of a whole nation pathetic, is something like this allowed here ? Im sure I wont be here for very long if I replace India with Pakistan in the title of the thread. This thread and its topic seems to lean more towards pure jealousy than actually pointing out to any significant issues. Very sad indeed.

Yes indeed... this was the reason why Rajiv Gandhi was killed... I still remember that day clearly when the news flashed all over the television screens about his assasination by the LTTE. He paid the price trying to bring a resolution to this conflict. Anyways.. thats not the topic of discussion here, so I will keep quiet.
