India, Pakistan and the Battle for Afghanistan

Right now China is watching how Indians are doing there. When Americans are leaving Indians should pack their luggages as well. Both Pakistan and China would like to see Indians out. Otherwise I think that we'll have to arrange uncomfortable exit for you.

I wonder what you mean by "India" and "Indians" in the context of Afghanistan. I am sure the government of India is not entirely altruistic in its intentions, but it probably has better intentions than the governments of China or Pakistan. Some of the things India is doing there has nothing to do with military, or something that can be removed. Will you blow up their highways and Parliament so it does not have the Made by India stamp? Will you ban Indian movies and serials so they don't relate to our culture? Will you drive away the embassy personnel so we have no diplomatic relationship?

Please think logically, no military is going to triumph there. The sooner we all realize that Afghanistan has to be supported by diplomacy and soft power alone, the better it is for the four countries and the region.

lol, you know what's funny? These indians think they can stay in Afghanistan, ha ha ha!

I would love it if india invests billions more into Afghanistan and the corrupt Karzai regime, when the right time comes we can make Afghanistan a hell hole for indians and all their $$ will go to hell with them!:yahoo:

like i said, indians can't beat us at our own game!

There is a famous quote by the American General Dwight D. Eisenhower:

"Never let the enemy chose the battlefield", and clearly the indians are challenging us in our own battlefield, our own game, and no one can beat us at our own game!

:pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

Afghanistan is not a pawn for India or Pakistan to play with. They are not going to allow foreign armies on their land for too long, for none of us can beat them at THEIR game on THEIR land. And as for diplomacy, neither of us can succeed if we don't win their hearts.

I wonder why you look at everything in an oblique way. Pakistan has a bright future if you abandon the superior-than-thou ideology and accept a less radical approach to resolving issues.

yeah yeah yeah, keep that nonsense for someone gullible! ;)

We know why your there, what your doing, and your intentions! After all, TTP didn't get five truck loads of ammo from nowhere you know! Once American is out, we will make a bad example out of you in Afghanistan!:sniper:

You don't know the presence of Indian troops and RAW agents there? Are you from Mars?

I dont Sanchez, please tell me where they ? im sure you know their address from the way you speak so confidently.

No one denies that there are Indian troops. We are even actively training them in our warfare methods to become self-sufficient. I am not sure of RAW agents although that is possible. My question was if this is different from the intentions of Pakistan or China? Obviously not. Governments everywhere have to play these tactics. How long are we going to be successful doing that? Not very, I suspect.

On the other hand, what about the other areas where India is permeating Afghanistan like infrastructure, culture and cinema? Are you going to negate that by zapping people's brains?

Some of this was addressed above. You can choose to disregard it, does not affect me. But it is illogical to assume India will nurture and support these extremist militants, especially after seeing Pakistan burning its fingers.

Hence the reason why I would support India since I have seen how they treat my Afghan brothers, In your country they call Afghans, "Pathans" and are quite well-established and respected.

While as in Pakistan, they are called "Akharot" and constantly crack jokes on them.

Hell, even the King of Bollywood admits he is Afghan by ethnic group (Pashtun) and is proud of it.

Being an Afghan does not mean you are an Afghanistani, Afghans(Pashtuns) are all over the world.

According to estimates, there are nearly, 10million Afghans, Which you would call once again "Pathan" in India alone.

Its either your a pakistani(punjabi) or plain stupid... the reason why we secular nationalist like India is mainly caz..india is democratic and secular nation...moreover India is force of stability in region....as one of my Kabuli friends recent remark "why would i not like India...they are building school, hospitals, and roads in Afghanistan while pakis are destroying all that." India has great culture...and is raising star...while pakistan has nothing other then ***** of Dewband and Durrand!

.
sorry, i don't care how many links you provide me, the point is you can't beat us at our game! We will make a living hell for you indians in Afghanistan, as you have just witnessed what happened recently;)

Shame on you for glorifying you cowardice killing of 30 afghan civilian...mark my words you will pay for ever single drop of Pakhtun/Afghan blood you have been shedding for past 30 years.

and what is the role of china in afghanistan??

Listen you idiot. Pakistan has been supporting Afghanistan from the day it was born. Your million lakh Afghanis are treated just like another Pakistani in Pakistan. They are getting jobs replacing the hardworking Pakistanis in jobs. Pakistan has been donating buses, food, etc..and whatever it can do from the start. It has integrated the Afghan sport into Pakistan domestic structure which in no way benefits Pakistan cricket...now you ill informed idiot doesn't know a **** about your own country than i doubt you are even an Afghani...cause Pathans dont forget their real friends and real enemies. Go kill yourself.

Well said brother. I've seen these Afghani nationals in Islamabad, they are more well off (thanks to Pakistanis) than most of the people in my ancestral village in Punjab province of Pakistan. Some of these Afghanis are really ungrateful scumbags.

Pakistan was supporting Afghanistan since the day it was born? Do you have any clue how old Afghanistan is as compared to modern day Pakistan? Are you aware that modern day Pakistan was once part of the Afghan empire?

I am sorry but I stopped reading from right there, You need to be much more precise and professional in your stances, even though your rebuttal was perhaps towards someone else, I couldn't help to quote you and correct you.

Pakistan and Afghanistan need to both be friendly to one another, Pakistan can never be developed if Afghanistan is unstable and unfriendly. They go hand and hand, The border is nearly impossible to secure since its the same ethnic group.

It seems as though you are quite confused,

1)Its not "Afghani", Afghani is the name of the Afghan currency, Its AFGHAN if you are talking about Pashtuns/Pathans/Pukhtuns or Afghanistani, if you are talking about others.

That is all.

Indo-Afghan relationship is a part of Global Indian presence. Soon India would start investment in numerous countries including Afghanistan. Indian presence in Afghanistan is going to increase a lot in the recent years. It would help Afghanistan get organized and India expand its economy and get another ally.

Win-Win situation for us.

Spoken like a real clonial power.

the things has changed it is not as it was past for Pakistan

its very hard time for Pakistan now afghan don't like them because of ISI Taliban link

its time when china UAE India and USA Russia and are looking its role in Afghan and very complex equation for Pakistan
