India, Pakistan and the Battle for Afghanistan

What he is trying to say is REAL AFGHANS are PASHTUNS from Pakistan and Afghanistan, which are obviously consider Afghan by ethnic group as compared to Afghan by nationality.

There is a famous saying about this "Every Pakhtons is Afghan but every Afghan is not Pakhton."

So I guess what he is saying is that since, nearly 20+ million
Afghan(Pashtun) Pakistanis live in Pakistan, and Afghanistan is an Afghan(Pashtun) Majority the country, Both countries might share something in common?
The fact is Pakistan was created for Muslims primarily of Indian cultural background based on problems and conflicts which pertained strictly with India. What did us Pakhtons have to do with it? Absolutely Nothing! Culturally and racially we Pakhtons are part of Iranic group which includes Tajiks, Balochs, Kurds and Persians. Historically we are central Asian not south Asian...even geographically we are not in Indian sub-continent!
The only people Afghans both Tajik, Pashton, Baloch (85% of population) share with are Pashtons and Balochs of NWFP and Balochistan(25% of Pakistani population).

One point is undeniable, They have the same people who have been divided by a imaginary line named Durrand.
Same tribes, same language, same culture, Same AFGHAN history
.

You got it right but that is only limited to Pashton and Baloch people...whom share the Iranic culture and race of Afghani people...moreover NWFP is Afghan soil by historical record.

In my opinion, Both Afghanistan and Pakistan are a mess and they both need to get it together.

It is all cause of those dam bloody Angreez British trying to divide the power grid of Afghanistan...which Pakistan(Reads Punjabi) later inherit cause of their faithful servitude to the colonial master. To this day and age there is collative punishment rule and regulation of British Raj in FATA…to this day the forward policy of Angeez is being fallowed to extreme by their beloved Brown servants. I don’t think many people will like this…but the idea of Pakistan---basing religion as core of identity is actual extremist. The real mess today is cause of lack of identity of Pakistani state... there is no historical record of Muslims punjabis rule in regions...not any...thus in absent of national coherence in Pakistan, political Islam has been the ONLY means at the Pakistani government’s disposal for enduring the life of Pakistan. So what this guy forgets is that the only hope for Pakistan is extremist and fanatic groups not a real Pakhton group…or if a real Pakhton takes control of Kabul…they will demand the restoration of occupied afghan land---NWFP.

.
i think the biggest problem is that Afghanistan is located, right between South Asia and Central Asia. Afghanistan has always been a playground for proxy wars since ancient times. This will continue to bug Afghanistan in the future where India and Pakistan now play it out there. A solution for this must be sought.

.
I understand you point of view brother, but any reason why you think like that about Pakistan, keeping in mind that they have a lot of humanitarian missions in your country also

I am born and raised in the U.S.A, Last time I checked we have no where near the amount of problems as compared to Afghanistani's and Pakistani's.

Like I said, I prefer India solely on my experiences as far as politics is concerned.

Afghanistan is known as the Grave-yard of empires. Those Afghan(Pashtuns) are nearly impossible to be subdued, and quite frankly right now they are caught up in someone else s war and are facing exoneration.

I see, I see.

I just dislike the fact that Pakistan treats my Pashtun brothers like 2nd class citizens and does little to nothing in preserving our rich Afghan history.

They take pride in our famous conquerors and rulers and name their weapons after Afghans(Pashtuns), Yet refuse to preserve our culture.

So, after Russians left, why did you allow, Talibans (Which where backed up by Pakistan (ISI) to rule the country)..

Where did the great soles of Afgans went? Where was the pride of Afgans then?

Hence the reason why I would support India since I have seen how they treat my Afghan brothers, In your country they call Afghans, "Pathans" and are quite well-established and respected.

While as in Pakistan, they are called "Akharot" and constantly crack jokes on them.

Hell, even the King of Bollywood admits he is Afghan by ethnic group (Pashtun) and is proud of it.

Being an Afghan does not mean you are an Afghanistani, Afghans(Pashtuns) are all over the world.

According to estimates, there are nearly, 10million Afghans, Which you would call once again "Pathan" in India alone.

Afghan's were deceived, they were left with no choice. The country was literally left in ruins and they had no stable government to turn too. They figured Pakistan was their only hope, and boy oh boy did Pakistan show its face.

The great souls of Afghans fought the Russians and defeated them and had them keep it moving. Pakistan on the other hand, Is and always is scared of the Pashtunistan, and durrand line issue and will piss in its pants if Afghanistan has a stable government. The poor Afghans were so sick and tired of everything, all they wanted at that point was PEACE with RESPECT AND DIGNITY. You really can't blame a war-torn country when their neighbors are crooked and always looking for self-interests.

Once again, I am an American, I am no expert on Pakistan or India. I just am in favor for the success of all countries living in peace. But being 2 faced, is something I am whole-heartedly against.

Is that so!!! Why was al queda protected in the Afgan, even when Osama was media hungry with world domination intent..

The war was not someone else's, infact it was brought to there doorsteps.

Stop making excuses!!!!
