Lol Iranians and turks...
Apparently, majority of pakistanis and bangladeshis look very similar.

Majority Pakistanis are Dark skinned. Even though their ruling class is light brown skinned. But that is same in both India anf BD.

You can't rub any salt on Pakistani wounds because Pakistan has never accepted that territory as their by heart. Bangladesh was, is and remain insignificant to Pakistan. Nobody in Pakistan cares if Bangladesh progress or gets destroyed. For most Pakistanis Bangladesh is just a country like Somalia is or Madagascar is. You are the ones making noises even after almost 50 years of your independence, just to keep yourself relevant to Pakistan.

What I appreciate about Bangladesh is that the politicians are honest, it is not the case with Pakistan. Pakistan have the most corrupted politicians in the entire universe. Pakistani politicians have properties and illegal money in Dubai, Riyadh, Sharjah, Abudhabi, Switzerland, London, New York, etc. They just come to power for making money for these 5 years and then leave the country for next 1 or 2 decades. Currently look at the on going issue of Ishaq Dar Pakistan's finance minister, who came to power along with Sharif govt and after looting and destroying economy he have left the country, he did the same thing in 1992. NAB is trying to issue warrants through interpol this time. The point being, you don' have such corrupt politicians in Bangladesh.

Corruption is much more prevalent in Bangladesh. Just check out Transparency corruption Index . They are 30 positions below us. BD was the most corrupt country in the world in 2005 and 06.

Pakistanis and Benglali's look nothing alike. You would be blind to say so. Majority of Bengali's have dark skin just a shade lighter than Africans.

Dude a lot of Pakistanis in the UK think that I am Pakistani when they meet me for first time.

A lot of BD'shis where I live are light-skinned.

Anyway Pakistanis are a very varied mix and so cannot be generalised.

99 % of the Bengalis in Malaysia have dark skin. As a whole Pakistani's are lighter than Indians and much more so than Bengali's.

True that Pakistanis are on average lighter than BD'shis but we cannot generalise.

I have seen some BD'shis that could pass for southern Europeans and some Pakistanis that are nearly as dark as Nigerians!

PS - Dude you obviously never come into contact with Southern Indians who are almost pitch black.

That is true as regards Pakistan never wanting BD to be an equal part of it.

@Nilgiri will disagree with you about BD politicians being more honest than Pakistani politicians due to his butt-hurt at BD. Although Awami League is corrupt they are much better than BNP who are as corrupt as Pakistan's politicians.

What are you talking about? PK has one of the best geographical location AND 5 times more land per capita. BD also gets flood and probably goes through way more than what PK does. And corruption and instability? Really? BD went through authoritarianism in the 80s and only had stable (not really) democracy from the 90's. 5 times dense population, much worse geographical location, dictatorship, war and so on and you are saying PK had bad luck? You are really reaching mate.
Where have you been for the past 17 years? Pakistan has been plunged in a never ending war which ha a massive effect on its economic growth. Many investors pulled out due to security concerns.

Well you lot literally gaining freedom after departure of Brits in 1947, compared the pics of major cities against comparable Countries whose gaining independence after departure of their colonial master in 40 or 50 decades.

South Korea, Seoul.

You have to understand, we inherited a marsh land without any city or factory in 1947. Our biggest city Dhaka was just 12 sq. Km in 1947 when we lost the 2nd largest city of british empire Calcutta to India. We only had a small textile mill in 1947 and only 5% people could read and write. Whatever we gained in the first 20 years, got lost in 1971.

BD only gained independence from Pakistan in 1971.:D

Economic exploitation by Pakistan of BD was a major reason for the split - BD was subsidsing Pakistan's military, infrastructure and imports. There is a good reason why Pakistan economy was never the same again after 1971.

See how an independent BD is powering ahead at over 7% GDP growth now - the wonders of what can
be done when you are independent and have a single dominant ethnicity.

Come back in 2030 and then see the progress BD would have made as it would have had a nearly 6 decades to develop by then.

Pakistan - Islam and Muslim.
India - Hindu
Bangladesh—-?????????

Good Luck BD..They have the advantage of no unwanted external challenge like India and Pakistan...For example, in PDF, BD posters might crib as much as they want againt India, but fact is they also, BD is not India's concern neither India has any intent to challenge BD at any point of time. On the other hand, Pakistan has a challenge of India on the East, Afganistan on the West from its inception...So good amount of resource is being used to cover up these extenral factors, for Pakistan..
India can never be more more developed than China due to lot of challenge for us internally.

So if we take this graph in a positive way, it shows, how BD priotize its focus area to develop its social indicator successfully..

Congratulationn and Good Luck BD...I wish BD, Srilanka and all the countries of South Asia should really progress as fast as possible...
