India now as autocratic as Pakistan, worse than Bangladesh: Sweden institute’s Democracy Report

Indian media may be delusional but not Sweden’s V-Dem Institute who prepared the report.

So accept reality and stop claiming delusional to everyone.
hey chest thumper Bangali tell me a single swedish report where it says Pakistan is autocratic these kinda gems you will only see in India due to massive illiteracy and extremism.

.
So Pakistan is bench mark now. Better than Pakistan, worst than Pakistan, equal to Pakistan... Wah
Pakistanis (read Muslims) live rent free in the minds of hundred of millions Hindus and will continue doing so til the end of time :yahoo:

Look at the report. Pakistan falls within the category of Electoral Autocracy and in the bottom 20% of the country list. India came to the group as well but still rank above Pakistan.
India is going back to its proud traditional roots and that is sure to hurt the so called conversion business. Neo colonialism of using India for exploiting it with one sided trade is also has been put to death bed. No wonder India is autocratic to them.

You can’t keep people believing something unrealistic by force. When there is conversion there must be some valid logic behind it regardless whatever trickery missionary group applies.

There are different ways to look at data. Those who wants to bend it, do it like Beckham.
Indians are past masters of it.
Even though the sentence is there in the report that India is as autocratic as Pakistan. But when you look at the entire report in Pakistan the decline is not as prominent as in other countries in South Asia.

First of all Pakistan is not among the 10 top autocratic countries according to the report.

Thailand at no 10 has seen -0.17 decline, that means that Pakistan's decline if there was is less than -0.17, because the report has no information on that.

The Report does not provide LDI 2020 score for Pakistan to see if it is lower than 0.34 compared to India's score in 2020.

To find out where the mention of Pakistan as Electoral Autocracy we look at the report mentioned above. There we find the following map of the world.

Pakistan is shown as Electoral Autocracy and India as Electoral Democracy. This map is based on 2017 figures, India has declined to Electoral Autocracy according to the new report we are discussing.
But there is no figures/data available on Pakistan. It may have improved.

On the point of using "Sedation" as a mean of control, it is on the rise in India according to the report.
While in Pakistan we see "Maryam" everyday violating it and no charges of "Treason" or "Sedation" have brought against her, or anyone else who had been bad mouthing Pakistan, its institutions and Pakistan Army.

What would happened to her if she was in India!!

I rest my case.

Bangladesh is technically democratic , as it has working parliament. Although last election was openly massively rigged.

However that doesn't matter , as I hate democracy as I consider it as tyranny of the majority.

Pakistan is also technically democratic, as it has working parliament. Although last election was openly massively rigged.

However, this does matter, as I don't hate democracy as I consider it as means to bring about equilibrium in countries with diverse ethnic populations. What I do hate is the "forced" and "doctored" majoritarianism in third world states or "majoritarian exploitation" by unfair constitutional acts. Problem is not in the philosophy of democracy but in the undemocratic practice of democracy (ironic, I know).

The democracy of Bangladesh was always like this , that's why I hate it. I don't think you can bring the real western democracy even in 100 years. Don't know about Pakistan though. So now semi one party ruling is better for Bangladesh than changing govt in every 5 years , that only benefits the lower class, low life , jahil politicians and their side kicks.

The problem is the mentality of the people of Bangladesh.

If you feed them with silver spoon , in the end they will remain partisan and slaves to various parties.

It's very easy to rule the mind of people with various ideology.

Finally I want to say that ,the problem lies in our mentality.

Majority people don't understand the meaning of citizens and their democratic rights.

They actually remained subjects instead of citizen.

And if you will bring democracy and a fair election to subjects , only ideology will win , not humanity.

So rigged election is better in such countries.

Thankfully the deep states that is controlling such countries aren't like various bastardised political parties.

So either choose one party system if China directly , or keep rigging election and use political parties as the front guard of military deep state.

Win win for both subjects and aristrocrates / ruling class.

At least political parties' low life , third class uncultured jahil people will not be the real ruling class, but will always be used as foot soldiers, now Bangladesh is doing.

“I can have you killed. But if I kill you, then you won’t feel the pain. I will make you suffer.”
Mohammad Hasan smiled grimly and took a deep drag on his cigarette. His hands, loaded with gold rings and bracelets, clinked as he described how he settled an old score with a rival. A cloud of smoke rose towards the ceiling of the cramped room in a money exchange kiosk on a quiet Budapest backstreet. He expressed little emotion or pity. It appeared to be just business. It was like a scene from a mafia movie.
