How much power does China produces in terms of Megawatts?

Any source? (Don't give me sources mentioning Kwh)..

Not particularly the point of the thread. but if you do search here, there are many threads posted and started by Chinese about their power grid. with 7 trill GDP as they claim to have, it gotta be a lot more.

The electricity sector in India had an installed capacity of 225133 MW as of May 2013,[1] the world's fifth largest. Captive power plants generate an additional 34444 MW.

While Japan's production has gone down recently and Russia is barely expanding at 1%. India is no more 6th largest but 3rd largest. Only China and USA produce more and our aim should be to over take USA in next 15 years. Over taking China is just impossible, they are launching a coal fired plant in every 3 weeks. This pace is just unparalled in human history.

there has been virtually no power cut in my city (hyderabad) from last 8 months ( before that we used to have a power cut of 45mins -1hr ) thats it..... the pwer cuts are mainly restricted to the tier 3 cities and villages.... but even there the situation is changing...

I am in Vadodara now(In Gujarat) and I haven't seen any power cuts here(not even 1 minute) in last 1 month.
