Harrasment does not mean rape or molestation. It can be cat calls, unnecessary interest, touch by 'mistake' on a crowded bus etc.

I know what harassment means buddy.

They do have women only buses but it doesn't always works according to the plan.

It is true that biologically speaking humans are at the peak of their reproductive capability at age 15 or 16 for women, and age 17 or 18 for men.

But in the modern world, one is not ready to bear family responsibilities at that age.

Am not sure. But it is a high number. BTW, it is no different from pakistan. Bangladesh might be beter, they have more gender equality there.

It's a problem for the entire developing world. Pakistan included, our women face nearly the same level of harassment it's just to taboo to discuss or report it. In my opinion we need to cater the masculinity of our respective cultures where appropriate behaviours and thoughts are rewarded and we need to address the high level of repression that our cultures impose. This is basically a corruption of the libidinal desires coming out this way.

We are talking about this thread, not from somewhere else. Secondly, every member is given a infraction, never a straight ban.

Thirdly, infraction is a confidential matter b/w the management and member.

That thread is for rape incidents themselves, this thread is not for a rape incident but for a analysis of it, and also about the culture and habit of people to tease. The article provides a remedy and such. This is NOT a thread for a particular event.

As I said before, a infraction is b/w the management and member. You are given infractions, if somebody has too many infractions accumulated, he will be given an automatic ban. So instead of this lone infraction, you should also care about the 30+ infractions already accumulated.

So according to the author, since India has high rate of rape epidemics; to counter the loose morals of people, Indians should go one step further and abolish the institute of marriage, start having sex out of wedlock and make bastard babies, and pretty much get rid of whatever little morality they have.

Even the author's solution to the problem sounds nothing less than perverted.


PS: the scary part is, in his mind, he might be going, "That is Brilliant!"
