India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

In that case... CHEERS..!! And tell your PCB chairman to stop his regular Randi Rona.. :D

Couldn't agree any more. Unfortunately the PCB Chairman is part of the treacherous liberal elite of Pakistan who in no way represent the Pakistan patriot movement. They in no way promote what's right and good for Pakistan. But in fact do the opposite.

. . .
Must not politicize? It has! Its always politics. By not playing India is trying to put sanctions on Pakistan.

Forget them. Why do you want to play them when they dont. Stop begging them.

.
If you know that, it would be the lead news story in a good part of the world. :o: I certainly, have never heard of such a plan.

Snatch and grab is an old American contingency plan to take away Pak's arsenal. Especially now that the establishment is planning to deploy nukes into forward army units.

Pak is planning to move its arsenal into China for safekeeping.

.
If when it comes to Pakistan everything should be 'politicised' then stop trading too; trading in terms of sugar, fashion and other business transactions need to be stopped. Or are they okay because that's not in the public eye? You're okay with it when it serves your country purpose in discreet but any mends or appreciation of public relations you have issues with? Please!

Pakistan doesn't spread terrorism. It's a victim of it, unlike India we don't wish to accuse without knowing facts as you did with Uri and the recent attack that took place. We have a living and breathing RAW agent who openly admitted to India's involvement for disturbances and terrorism within Pakistan.

India needs to stop terrorism in Kashmir and quit abusing power. It also needs to calm the extreme hindumotive movement where they disregard and disparage any other Faith 'below' them as well divided provinces.

In short: we don't care to play and are unaffected.

....all of which nothing to do with what you asserted, i.e. that you were somehow privy to an Indian plan to "snatch & grab", as you put it. If you are privy to such an Indian plan, then from what you say, why wouldn't Pakistan simply move her nukes to China to keep them safe from..........you guys? After all, Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is not designed for use against my country but to use against yours, if need be.

The threat has changed. Two major changes have happened over the last few years.

One, IA has reduced its time for invasion from 3 weeks to 3 days.
Two, Pak is spreading nukes out to battlefield commanders to counter that.

What's special about these nukes is they don't have specific launch codes held by people in power, it is going to be deployed by regular troops on the ground ready to be launched at a moment's notice. They are doing it to counter IA's new doctrine.

And in what way is this a threat to the US, EU, Israel etc you say? Then let me answer that question with another question of my own. How much of a threat was bin Laden to the US on September 10th 2001?

And as I mentioned earlier, it is not 'only' an Indian plan to snatch and grab, it's 'also' American.

As for moving nukes to China, there is a different problem. In case India invades Pakistan, with just a 3 day window for preparation, which means Pakistan's Holding Corps may not even be deployed to sufficiently stop an Indian offensive thereby crossing Pak's nuclear threshold, then Pak cannot attack India with nukes from China because that would be seen as a nuclear attack from China instead. That's not something China will be ready to do. But this scenario is in India's favour.

Think about it, it's only a 3 day window now. And 3 days is only our estimate, it's even lower. And you are a mil pro, so you may have an idea about when nukes are most vulnerable.

Well, if they are truly sending terrorists across your border, then break off relations and declare war as if what you say is so, then they are already committing acts of war against you.

As to the two Olympic boycotts, I think that just bolsters my case. Both were silly (as it is in this case: "You've attacked our country with armed terrorists, so no more throwing balls at your batsman!" "That will teach you a lesson!") and utterly ineffectual, hurting only the athletes who just wanted to compete in good sportsmanship.

Again, it is better than going to kill each other in a war...Mindset of Western people are different. They are more logical and try to judge things differently than at least for South Asians. We are highly emotional people...and whenver any kind of political rivallary happens between us, Cricket, Movies and Art is always gets impacted.

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman
23 MINS AGO BY APP

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan said India should not politicise the game of cricket.

It may be mentioned here that PCB had signed a MoU with BCCI to play six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023. Four of those series were to be hosted by Pakistan and the six tours pending a legal agreement will include up to 14 Tests, 30 ODIs and 12 Twenty20s.

The first of these bilateral series was to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) last year in December but it did not happen as the Indian Government didn’t give a green signal to the BCCI for the series.

Recently PCB had also demanded financial compensation from BCCI and ICC for losses incurred due to India’s refusal to play bilateral series against them.

Speaking to media, he said we will not request India to play Pak-India series. “We will have a clear cut talk with India on the matter of the Pak-India series,” he said.

He said India has violated the MoU of Pak-India series.

“Indian government does not want the Indian cricket team to play with Pakistan. Pakistan will present its point of view on the matter in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting,” he said.

Scrap it, There is no need for any engagement at any level till the provocations stop.

Everything is going to be politicized with Modi in charge. Cricket, water, the air that we breathe etc.

Good to see that the Modi effect is effective and working, the evidence shows in your frustration!

PCB should stop begging the BCCI pin-pointing the MOU they signed for bilateral cricket series between 2015-2013. That was before Uri ! Times have changed after that. MR. Sharyar has highlighted that this would be brought up in the upcoming ACC meeting. It is going to be a grand shame to bring up bilateral issues to a multilateral forum and after all lack of Indo-Pak cricket is not affecting any other cricket playing nation negatively. And India must not agree to play in Pakistan at any cost. Their home grown terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team. Will they keep quite if a team from their No. 1 enemy nation visit ?

.
Only sports unite the two nations and they dont want to see that

. .
I remember that boycott quite well and national solidarity was the last thing it created. Despite initial public poll support, that quickly evaporated and it was disastrous to the Carter administration. His boycott was the subject of late night talk show jokes. Carter was perceived, (correctly), as a weak and ineffectual leader. It divided the country, not unify it.

No, not unrelated, but completely useless as well.
The international isolation of South Africa from the sporting arena because of apartheid was a major catalyst in ending apartheid in South Africa.

.
Don't expect something good from India. They politicalize film, drama industry, sport, music and almost everything.

Two nations can come together through music/culture/films and sports. But Indian don't want that.
