What India should do is allow America to station troops there just like Japan and Korea. Than there would be an Asian version of Nato with Japan, SK, Australia, Singapore and India with US station troops in all these Asia-Pacific countries.

Right now we have only one country to focus that's China(Pakistan is tired in war on terror) while you have so many countries to focus on

If IA has deployed an ITBP battalion, PLA would surely be having adequate response tucked behind the hill where their platoon is pitched. Btw, PLA now has a massive force camped on the Tibetan plateau. That includes the T-90 heavy tanks said to be the most powerful in PLA. PLAAF command responsible is far superior to IAF.

Both sides have the ability for adequate responses - whats the point you are trying to make and why ?

The easiest thing is to escalate - it requires no maturity and can happen in a trice. Escalate it shall if all options are exhausted .

Till then let sanity prevail. Such instances happen all the time and get resolved all the time too.

Indian dominates in the Western Sector of Chinese border(Leh/Laddakh).

They know it. We know it.
No need to act aggressive. Let diplomacy sort it out.

Not possible. Our Army is strong unlike those countries. No foreign military will be allowed to station troops in India.

The only exception has been Singapore - and that is as a favour and a goodwill gesture to them.

It's true. If you know after 1962 India never stationed troops near the border to avoid such things. If I remember correctly the distance was 15 km. but now Chinese soldiers made India do that. I am happy about it.

One shot fired against the PLA, you will be on your knees quicker than in 1962 begging for mercy. Indian military has no chance against the PLA. PLA is a professional and highly trained fighting force. India is a mere spectator in this and they know it because there is nothing in the Indian arsenal that worries the PLA.
