India moves in more troops, stand-off with China escalates

Border with china is not demarcated , perception of LAC on both sides are different hence such incidents happens and indian media makes hype about it

Usually in that region both parties tried to maintain status quo. The party at fault made amends and retreated to a position where the opposition no longer feels threatened. But this time China broke the agreement and after repeated requests to retreat is still there where it should not be.

Also, why are we mobilizing troop if it's insignificant intrusion.

Remember that the area is undemercated, which means the boundary between India and China has not been laid yet. So, we cannot arrest them when they have not crossed any recognised border. But this does not give them right to stay there and claim it their territory. The troop movement by our army shows how seriously they are taking this incursion.Indian Army is not fooling around this time not when the said region is so close to Siachen Glacier - the high priority zone for Indian Armed Forces.

no not even single bullet will b fired take my words........because after 1962 not even single bullet is fired from both the sides....btw india has established a bunker/post 500 mtrs away so where to drop bomb?lol kidin
the relations along the border are so peaceful that while patroling if troops from both sides face each other...then the show a flag type clothe on which it is written border patrol& peace(or something like that) in chinese english & hindi

Of all borders India has, the India China border is the most quiet one.

Let diplomacy sort this out.

I think the chinese will not escalate things because the last thing they need is a troubled western border and the same goes with India

Rather than fighting with Pakistanis we should concentrate on China more. The problem is Chinese don't speak more but do it... But we the Sub Continent folks speak more than work. I think we should apply mind than strength in this case. War is the last option. Remember if a war breaks out it'll be nuclear and World War and in this age it will not only destroy India and China but the whole world.

Because it'll develop into a World War. Other countries will get involved for sure. And now it's the nuclear age. The Way a war between Germany and Poland took the shape of World War.

Maybe India should just surround and kill these Chinese troops. This would make India China border more of a focus for India rather than Pakistan and Bangladesh borders, what India perceive as China's proxy.
