India moves anti-tank missiles to LoC

I agree. This is more a cautionary bit of News. Looking at the territoryI dont think it is tank terrain as it is mountainous. However they can use them to target Pak bunkers.
Most of our bunkers have measures to resist these attacks, we believe that mud and concrete is not what bunkers should be made from unlike certain other nations.

they cancel spike in favor of javelin from USA.
ToT is not an option for Israel as they depend on the industry to provide jobs to their own people, which is why the deal met problems. More then anything else the constant ToT demand has crippled the Indian defence industry.

Well, we can make a news out of almost all actions by adding some information. This event contains some newsworthiness provided that it gives information about the type and quantity of weapon systems deployed at LoC. Otherwise it is a routine matter.

I have noticed many Indians seriously believe that Pakistan would face the same situation like it did back in '71 conflict and they can wage a full scale war with Pakistan anytime and would it would be a cake walk for the Indian armed forces. Such assumptions or should I say belief can be seen on any forums or major news posts which has comments section.

What they fail to understand is the ground reality. If a full scale war breaks out, India has way more to lose than Pakistan. The Indian military leadership and to some extent political leadership knows this very well. They also, know the capability of Pakistani armed forces. Its not like they will be fighting a rag tag army of few hundred thousands like that of Irag, Egypt, Syria, etc. The Pak armed forces of '71 are totally different now, way way much better armed and very significantly non-reliant on foreign arms supplies. As oppose to '71 conflict, they won't have to manage logistics 1200 miles away. A full scale war between the two would likely turn into nuclear conflict which means India would target major cities of Pakistan and its infrastructure and if that happens to be the case, that would mean Pakistan's survival is at stake. Yes, statistically speaking Pakistan could be completely destroyed being 4 times smaller than India in terms armed forces size and resources, however, to deter that at the same time the nuclear strike from Pakistan would be so deadly and horrific that the Indian ambition of becoming a regional/global economic/military power would be permanently buried in ashes.

They tried shooting, we shot back. They tried artillery, they got slapped with artillery. Now they want to use AT missiles and seem to forget we have quite a few of those too - better ones at that :sniper:
