Btw, when people say Indian, they mean the area occupied by Pakistan. The recorded history of Balochistan's old civilizations dates back to as much as the Egyptians or even the Mesopotamian civlizations.

It is unlikely that the cultural exchange happened between them and that one transmitted to the other.

No they most definitely do not.

As in the quoted news pieces, they almost always refer to the area of present day south India (peninsular India) as the original/old India.

What you refer to is the Indus Valley / Harappan civilization.

I have been told that pre-Independence there were no India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It was called the Indian Subcontinent.

My question is, were the people there called Indians?(inc. Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis). Or something else.

I really doubt that Oriental Chinese have anything in common with Indians. I mean if that was true we'd see a few Chinese looking dark skinned people as well?

All Indians are not dark skinned. All chinese are not yellow skinned (or slit eyed). There are many slit-eyed Indian people in our North-East too. It's called evolution ..... the slit-eyes (epicanthic folds) probably developing over millenia in the mongoloid off-shoot of the Indian race as protection from the harsh climate, driving sand/snow, and biting perennial wind of the mongolian plateau.

One theory that extends this thought is the fact that people all over the world, built Pyramids as their first massive structure. The Egyptian and the Mayans never met each other. There was no cultural exchange possible. Yet they both had the bright idea to build Pyramids. How come?

It is obvious there was some common ancestor between them, hence an older civilization - like the mythical Atlantis.

Or a common alien invasion and terrestial colonisation.

medical experts comments needed .How much of this is true.We Indians and Mongoloids are as different as chalk and cheese

I'm medical, though not an expert by a long shot.

Prof. Lalji Singh, Director of CCMB, Hyderabad, the Institute doing pioneering work in this field and actively involved in this study (amongst others), is a mentor of mine.

He is hugely respected internationally, and knows what he is talking about .....

The Story of India, a BBC TV documentary series, written and presented by historian Michael Wood, about the 10,000-year history of the Indian subcontinent. Here is the first episode "the beginning", a must watch---

Aryan (Iranian ) are genetically closer to Europians and Arabs

Recent research

Üllő5 Sarmatian potteryIn a recent excavation of Sarmatian sites by Dr. Jeannine Davis-Kimball, a tomb was found wherein female warriors were buried, thus lending some credence to the myths about the Amazons. Amazons are reported as Sauromatae wives.

In Hungary a great Late Sarmatian pottery center was reportedly unearthed between 2001–2006 near Budapest, in Üllő5 archaeological site. Typical gray, granular Üllő5 ceramics forms a distinct group of Sarmatian pottery found everywhere in the north-central part of the Great Hungarian Plain region, indicating a lively trading activity. A recent paper on the study of glass beads found in Sarmatian graves suggests wide cultural and trade links.[14]

Those Sarmatians, being in the early Iranian range of south Russia, were probably Iranian people akin to the Scythians/Saka. The numerous Iranian personal names in the Greek inscriptions from the Black Sea Coast indicate that the Sarmatians there spoke a north-eastern Iranian dialect related to Sogdian and Ossetic.

Like the Scythians, Sarmatians were of Caucasian appearance; before the arrival of the Huns it is thought that few of the western steppe peoples had Asiatic or Turco-Mongol features.[15]

Earliest recorded Western civilization begins from the Egyptian Civilization. That doesn't mean that the Asian civilization didn't exist at the time. Three is a good chance that there were civilization even during the Ice age.

That is interesting because according to the opinion among some Islamic and Christian scholars, Adam was sent down to earth to south India also known as Adam's bridge. Moreover, according to plate tectonics theory, India and Africa were next to each other as part of the Gondwanaland super-continent.

There are also other early prophets that are said to have settled in India like Sheesh and Ayyub (Job) whose graves are said to be in Ayodhya. Sheesh was one of Adam's son.

Here are some links that mention these, although they can be considered speculative as well as they were based on interpretations and readings of various religious and historical scriptures.
