India may transfer some Migs to Srilanka: Source

Sir LCA tejas is a technology demonstrator and lca mk2 is not expected before 2022-2025
Wrong.First Tejas squadron with 20 Tejas will be completed in 2017-18.
After that 100 Tejas MK-1A with AESA radar will be delivered.

Tejas production will increase to 30 per year after Su-30MKI production ends.HAL delivered 18-20 Su-30MKIs to IAF in 2015 alone.

. .
Too much disappointed in Srilanka, we supported them through thick and thin, gave them everything to fight LTTE and eventually defeat them, and this is how they repay us ?

No worries, we never forget betrayals.

No you didn't. It was your media which claimed all those stuff of exporting AL Khalid's and JF-17 to Sri Lanka to fight the LTTE.
Don't pamper yourself.

. . . .
So ya.... if India transfers them then JF-17's deal is off... Lanka has to use them till Tejas is ready to be exported

But why would they accept older aircraft when they have the option to get new ones?

Even without JF-17, they can go for the Korean KAI T-50s, which would do a wonderful job.

We seriously need to get Tejas into mass production for exports alongside IAF and IN's needs.

. . .
Its called a marketing strategy.

SLAF will be our first export customer.

In general terms, blocking their aid money in exchange of refusing to buy the aircraft of their own choice is called Blackmailing, not marketing strategy. You already tried shoving the LCA down their throat without success, i dont think they will go for it until it is inducted into the IAF with success.

Lastly, with an American engine powering the aircraft, you will need their permission to sell it.

Then what you call Jf17 ,Prototype hai ji??

yes, we have just under 70 fully equipped prototypes armed to the tooth and protecting our skies.

That's diplomacy. If India is providing aid money to someone, it has to ensure that money isn't going into anyone else's pocket.
And India is providing a much better deal to them, which they cannot ignore.

And regarding America's permission, don't worry about that, multi billion dollar deals for American companies is enough to get their permission.

Sorry, to me and everyone who understands the difference between the two, it is plain blackmailing.

Trust me, you dont know the yankees as much as we do. Try selling it without their permission and they will screw you big time.

Ye they do cause they know Indian things are way better than chinese junk fighters ......17

They dont know how to crash migs, hopefully you guys will give them a swift "crash course" on this.

They don't know how to crash F-7s and Mirages(Kfir is based on Mirage) either; hopefully Pakistan will teach them from her vast experience in crashing them on how to do this.
