We are going to get technology direct from United states not only in Defence sector but even in Nuclear sector.

Ambassador Abdullah Abdurahman Alim, the special envoy to Kashmir from the OIC, who recently visited Pakistan, said that the OIC supports direct and frank negotiations between Pakistan and India. Encouraging the two sides in the conflict to leverage all means available to them, including objective bilateral talks and working hard to find a peaceful and lasting solution that takes into account the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Which means Kashmir issue should be solved bilaterally by both India and Pakistan. India has adopted a balanced policy on Palestine which is similar like EU, United States and Russian Federation. Why should India spoil its relations with Arab world when Arab world is the largest business partner of India.

India sees West Asia as a vital part of its extended neighbourhood, she said as it accounts for over 60 per cent of India’s oil and gas requirements. “Collectively the Arab world is India’s largest trading partner, with bilateral trade increasing to over US$ 180 billion in 2012-13. Oil dominates India’s imports from the region, but recent trends show the trade basket becoming more diverse across the region ranging from Oman to Egypt, Sudan and beyond…In essence, economically, relations are expanding by the day. The possibilities of growth are virtually limitless.”

You did not read Falcon's post properly and gave a reply which is expected from you. He/She said why would India have a problem supporting Palestine since many allies of Israel support Palestine....

Here is exactly what was said....

Falcon29 said:
I don't understand who India is trying to get at/or appease. It's not like India has anything against the Palestinian people. And many of Israel's allies voted in favor of Palestinian statehood.

to which you replied as follows....

Rajaraja Chola said:
We have our own internal population to please.

So my question automatically was... Who is that internal population which will be appeased if India votes against/abstains on Palestinian statehood...?

India had voted in support of Palestine in the recent past, to appease a certain section of our society.
I had no problems with India voting against Israel till 2000, as we had our foreign policy against colonisation . But after that Israel had become our reliable partner. Its better to change our votes now.

Then why did those who were in the Govt until May 2014 maintain a relationship with Israel as that particular section of our society was against any such relationship.....? Where was the appeasement then?

My views are irrelevant to PA positions. Palestinian Authority prefer to remain neutral in outside conflicts. My personal position is to support position of Kashmiri peoples. If they want to live under Pakistan or India. Or if they want an independent state. I support the majority view amongst their people.

Your view regarding Kashmir is balanced. The people of Kashmir should have a say in their freedom. Although, the geographical reality of Kashmir isn't going to change anymore. Whatever part Pakistan has is going to remain with it. The opposite is also true. No amount of protest and wishful thinking is going to change this fact. The only real possibility is a relaxation of the border areas between Pakistan and India administered Kashmir. This would allow the Kashmiri people to visit each other freely. Although, this is a far cry at the moment.

The Palestinian people shouldn't be too concerned with the Indian position. The relationship between India and Israel is no secret. With Modi in power such things are to be expected. The vast majority of the world supports a Palestinian state including many nations in the West. The Indian position in this regard isn't going to change the world stance one bit.

India recognised Israel only in 1992... The actual relationship took off only after Israel responded to an SOS during Kargil War . BJP govt cashed on it.. UPA govt maintained low key reg its affair with Israel.. If u see, though relationship have grown stronger, there was no bilateral meet from 2004-2014.. Why is that?? Politics.. Simple as that..

India voted in support of Palestine by keeping International consensus and have always adopted that policy. Why you think that India will go against the Palestinian cause when India have always stand for them since the starting. With time China, Russian Federation and now EU have changed their policy in favor of Independent Palestine state on which India have always stand.

India have recognized state of Israel after disintegration of USSR but India was having low level contacts with State of Israel. In Sep 8 2003 Prime Minister Ariel Sharon visited India during that time PM was Atal ji and when the joint statement was held , Israeli PM asked thinking that BJP Government will stop giving diplomatic support to Yasser Arafat on United nations and condemn Palestinian groups and taht time Israel was working to expel Yasser Arafat and during that time Atal Ji Government not agreed on it and asked to continue the peace process with Palestinians.

Indo-Sudan joint statement of October 2003 calls for ‘an early establishment of a Palestinian State in accordance with relevant UN Security Council Resolutions so as to end the Israeli occupation’.

Today's Statement from Indian Government.

External affairs ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said

"There is no change in our policy of extending traditionally strong support for the Palestinian cause while maintaining good relations with Israel," he said.

He also referred to a policy statement by external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj in Parliament in July. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his message to the UN on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people last month had also reiterated India's support to the cause.
