India May Be Heading To Mars

Please make some space in that mars thing and put madam sonia and bablu rahul to mars as well .

.
Good for them as long as they don't call it indigenous Mars Mission..
Yeah its Chinese mission....and ISRO works for ISI. They are going to change its name ISIRO.

I can't understand why people like you are not banned. Atleast don't post anything just coz you can't do it.

Its about Mars Mission, hope you know what Mars we are aiming for, the planet not the chocolate.

Point to be noted good.

Because somewhere deep ....we have superpower ambitions.

A strong india is good for pakistan

Please spare us ur super power ambition dreams.....

A strong India is only possible if we have a strong Pakistan that is our legacy..............

I have already posted about technological advances which will be made to achieve this program which is must for us.

Secondly, lets make an example for you to understand manned mission to mars, it takes couple of years to take to Mars, so for that we need constant supply of food for the astronauts. So we have to develop food sources for these people to meet their nutrients requirement in space. Now development in this field will find its way in combating malnourishment in our children. If we commercially make it economical, just imagine the impact of such technology on tackling hunger and malnourishment.

If u really want to wipe out hunger u dont have to go to Mars for that, growing food in space is already been explored on
NASA - Growing the Future: Plants in Space

The only point that can be made by doing so would be a "Prestige Issue" which i doubt is worth billion of $'s

I do not understand how going top mars is must for India?

I think mars is far but if ISRO actually does a man mission in next 10yrs or so it would b an achievement.

Ind and Pak are faces of the same coin if one fly's the other will follow automaticly.

The only reason for all the mars talk can be a dooms day backup......

Sorry to say, you haven't in many fields leave aside space program in which we are decades ahead.

We are no longer face of same coin with you. These billions of dollars on our mission is approved by more intelligent, experienced and rational policy makers way much better than you and me. If it wasn't worth it, they wouldn't have allowed it. They know what they are doing.

India as to rise in every field if it wants to become a dominant power and for that we need cutting edge technology and advanced research.

WOW. Good luck on the mars mission. I wish Turkey was no longer in the middle east but in South Asia and the pacific. The middle east is a stone age headache.. You Pakistanis need to realise how lucky you are.
We could have been good neighbors and collaborating in every field especially in defense and space. But only IF....

.
Best of luck to India, and watch out for the great galactic ghoul!

. . . .
I think India should be heading for the Black Hole and not just Mars.

. .
Do you smell bollywood scripts in printing press? Well, we should all know that by now.
No we sell bollywood dreams for others in the subcontinet for indians its real indian dreamss of ISRO.

Chand ki kamana karo sitaaron ko paa lo.(aim the moon go to stars)
not everyone can see these dreams and get those

and those who does i ve there space program.

would be a great achievement if done.

ISRO can not be doubted they have proved themselves.

but what would be the purpose of taking such a mission n spending $$$$$$$$$$?

NASA chief: U.S. won't go it alone on manned Mars mission

The NASA Curiosity rover's risky landing on the Red Planet is scheduled for 1:31 a.m. ET Monday morning. NASA chief Charles Bolden focused on Mars as the "ultimate destination for now" for human space exploration, in a meeting with the USA TODAY Editorial Board.

"I have no desire to do a Mars landing on our own," Bolden said. "The U.S. cannot always be the leader, but we can be the inspirational leader through international cooperation" in space exploration.

Obama administration plans are for the $17.7 billion space agency to land KRAIT on an asteroid in 2025, then go to Mars by the middle of the 2030s.
