India will not agree to withdraw from the glacier until Pakistan agrees to marking the ground positions. Pakistans reluctance to this shows its intentions are not good. We do not want another kargil like situation in Siachen.

What you call Azad Kashmir is also something you have kabza jamao'ed..its legally India's land? Not only that you have 'gifted' some of this land to China...that much for right to self determination.... Stop trying to act as some morally superior nation when clearly your intentions have always been antogonistic to India and keep sending raiders or militants across the border. On top of that, you deliver lectures on human rights and self determination etc.

If you are so concerned for Kashmiris then settle them in your lands...India is ready to send whoever is willing to settle in your or China's part of Kashmir to settle the issue...any other issue?

Siachen should be demilitarized but done with mutual consent and agreements.

we should not DE militarize siachin. it wont be good for us.our base in siachin gives us many benefits because it is high altitude base.

Both India and Pakistan have wished to disengage from the costly military outposts. We should be hawkish and not try to settle-at the very least till Pakistan agrees to Actual Ground Position Line on Siachen which India has demanded and Pakistan declined. India has better positions on almost every military line.

No reason for us to withdraw. Fatalities due to weather have been reduced to almost zero with better equipment being used. The problems of supply will be further reduced in a couple of years with the tender for LUH being given out.

Siachen is a sensitive site if we do not withdraw it could damage the glacier beyond repair we must not let that happen. It must be demilitarized but with conditions to ensure it will never be occupied again by any soldier be it Indian or Pakistani this will stop the melting I hope although it might just be too late.
