Of course, Pakistan also has it's fair share of kanjars working in our film and drama industry, promoting soft image of Pakistan by showing their naked bodies. Mehwish Hayat has now become the image of Pakistan and she will now represent Pakistan, how shameful and disgusting. How many of us are willing to see our sisters and daughters following her by choosing her profession? Yet, she is representing Pakistan, promoting the so called soft image of Pakistan. We as a nation are bunch of hypocrites, nothing else.

If Mods can suggest some other name which could fairly describe their profession then I will edit my post. We should call them what they are, instead of devising beautiful names for a dirty profession.

Usually within Intelligence establishment of countries (not every), there is a separate Sub dept with fully employed media professionals and gurus that guide, funds, build and even control narrative for domestic and international audience. US and Russia have their dept. I know Israelis have one for cyber and social media. Now India following their footsteps.

Agreed, they are using their industry as a propaganda tool, no second opinion about it. But, are we going to counter their propaganda by doing same despicable things? Dont match wrong with another wrong. Do it in a rightful way. Use your media, make documentaries, uplift your education standard, publish books and research papers. We should follow our real legends like Iqbal, Faiz, Mufti, Shahab, Bano Qudsia, faraz, anwar maqsood, ibne insha etc. Not these fools who only know how to use their body.

Never watched Bollywood movies with zeal ... I know gazillion desis who to go Bollywood events .. never did it myself .. Bollywood sounds like state run movie production

Maybe some of the things she does is not something most Pakistani would want their sisters/daughters to follow, but she isn't forcing anyone to follow what she is doing. She actually have been trying on her part to bring awareness about potrayal of Pakistanis in foreign film, she recently visited national hockey team to bring awareness to public about condition of hockey and how Pak should focus on the sport, did she have to do any of this? I dont think so but she is and its a good thing that someone is doing it.

And when Pakistan make movies which have no s_x scenes, no lovemaking, no homosexual themes, almost no vulgarity or no vulgarity with Indian standards , no anti Pakistan stuff , no changing narratives and you people still abuse people who make films. Even so much so that all our film industry destroyed and now our drama industry is dead too. We have no international standard novelist. All we see is the riff raffs like umera Ahmed and fargat ishtiaqs .
And we are not doing good even at music . We only have Coke studio where we just remix old songs . No one release albumsand stuff anymore. No one makes single music videos on their won

Pakistani dramas are doing excellent job and getting million views on youtube and mostly Indian woman watch them so you cannot stop people watching quality content in this age of free social media. India and Pakistan might be enemy but most viewers of Coke studio are again Indians because it provide them free quality music..Pakistani drama have great storyline and acting and they are doing great even with limited budgets . They need to change the theme about drams and need to make dramas about Kahsmir/wars/army and others issues which PTV used to do in the past and movies can also do great earning without vulgarity and item songs ..look at Iranian film industry and they have not got big film industry as compare to Bollywood but still managed to win more awards than any Bollywood movies ever so quality matter most than quantity. We should provide people better alternative of bollwood otherwise there is no other way to reduce their influence . Our mullah who want woman to appear in full burka in movies and dramas need some rest
