Walton makes it's own screens for TVs and does the same for mobiles. Not exactly difficult when Walton has
such wealth of experience in display technology already.

They don't have any smartphone manufacturing facility because of lack of skilled workforce. All of their production are assembled from imported components.

I am sure a lot of the components of these phones such as batteries, Chips come from Korea and Japan or China. Most of these phones are assembled not manufactured. India is still at the bottom of the manufacturing value chain. Never the less it's an improvement.

We need to protect our electronics industry and build competitiveness and then open it up. Exact same procedure was used by China and now CHina is the dominant electronics market in the world.
