Our Last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has said the same thing in his last sermon during Hujj that No Arab has preference over Non-Arab, NO white has preference over Black or vise versa, He said "You (Muslims) are equal in the eyes of Lord but those who are poise (who do not hurt the mankind) are better in His eyes.

The bottom line is Islam gives no preference of creed or colour but humanity.

Why are you discussing about colour here.India has both fair and brown colored people and so does Pakistan.And it is not just the people in the north , there are many fair people down south as well.These are all south Indians and are well known actors.
