how so?
I'll ask what I keep on asking: Which "specialist" force is your government referring to and how did they go from clueless to "we have indisputable evidence of Pak Specialist forces involvement" in a span of less than 24 hours
is it just a coincidence that certain relevant sections of the hindi public and their chest-thumping media 'compelled' him to change his stance?
Mate, Pakistan has seen 13 years of terrorism coming from Afghanistan but being supported and backed by who? Remember 24 Indian consulates? Who many people have lost life to those? number of several times more than India can complain.
Remember BLA? Remember Indian PM accepting India's involvement in Baluchistan in the joint statement? Remember the suffering Pakistan had from yet another Indian Sponsored Terrorist group in Pakistan?
How many fingers have you got in your hands? 10? I have got the same number and we both can point towards each other in same number. You blame on us and we blame on you - and Cricket, Cinema and Dances cannot help this blame system. You talk of CBMS, we talk of CBMS but you talk of fixing the cancer with Pandora and we talk about fixing the cancer by accepting it as cancer. But actual problem is not this aspect. Actual problem is that India gets benefit by not resolving those issues. Honestly, India needs all this happening every now and then as it gets benefits out of it.
Its pinching but can you mention 1 or even a half benefit which Pakistan could get out of 26/11? There is none rather Pakistan received everything bad and after loosing those 200 innocents, India gained everything which it wanted, both internally and externally. As I mentioned, it is in the favor of India to keep a tension going between India and Pakistan as it is able to "cash" it and gain sympathies + is able to deny few things for us through its international influence. Welcome to reality, welcome to International Politics.

And to live peacefully in India , you need to fight your aggressor enemy. who is already frustrated with success rate of IA in killing the swines at LOC before they enter our country and disturb the area which they are doing since 90;s.
Hence you see the killing your countrymen. Nothing is done for chest thumping here, these guys are there fighting for our country to protect it.
By all means shoot anyone who tries to cross the LoC - that would be protecting the border. That is not chest thumping - that is just protecting your borders. What I meant is that in desperation to appear tough and serious - should not commit any act which might break international law or invite international condemnation for the sake of winning some brownie points in election year.
Just like Hyderabad Deccan & Junagadh/Manvadar were majority hindu but have joined Pakistan was Kashmir case whose liar ruler had assured & promised people of Kashmir that they will not be part of india but later show his true colors & nehru who promised Kashmiris right of self determination but later his greed of land didn't let that happen.
IWT water was to be used only by locals as specified in the treaty, currently india is generating electricity from these rivers for india.

au contraire! I got a good kick out of it given two things
a.) the indians themselves keep changing the numbers....one day - 7 days; then they say 2 hours....the same media which predicted Pakistan's collapse in 2007!
b.) an assessment by a businessman with a diploma in "plastic technology" who has no military experience whatsoever. Incidentally, he isnt even defense minister anymore
During Indian defunct operation Brasstacks, Zia told your ambassador that 'Mr Ambassador, Pakistan doesn't have enough oil to fight a war.'
It resulted in a withdrawal of the Indian forces, i will leave that to you to figure out what he meant by that statement.
Try to get your facts clear. There were, and are no 24 Indian consulates. These never existed except in the overheated imaginations of the Pakistani fan-clubs. Certainly they never existed in the eyes of the ISI; the only attacks that the ISI staged were against Kabul and Jalalabad.
Try to get your facts clear about the BLA. The Indian PM accepted nothing in the joint statement; he agreed to include the subject in future talks. Drawing a line from that to proving that support existed is exactly the kind of bizarre behaviour that the MEA had warned him against, soft-hearted fool that he is.
Try to get your facts clear. India has no entity, no organisation that gains out of keeping trouble going with Pakistan. If you think about it, the only side, the only organisation is the pampered and spoilt Pakistani military. The Indian military has no incentive to do this; if they had to cry 'wolf', there is already enough of a menace, a far greater menace in the long run, available to the north. There was no need to raise a Pakistani bogey to keep budgets moving upwards.
This is in sharp contrast to the myopic Pakistani stance of concentrating on its eastern border exclusively, as a direct result of which its own territory has become an insurgency zone, where the writ of the civilian police does not run.
Try to get your facts clear about 26/11 as well, since you had the extreme bad taste to raise a known act of terror aided and abetted by your state agencies and known to be so throughout the civilised world. Pakistan has attacked India not just on 26/11 but on a number of previous occasions; it is appalling that you overlook the pattern of activity, the well-publicised information propagated by the Americans, who have no incentive to bear out India's conclusions considering their major strategic stakes in Pakistan, or the actual confession by the lone surviving terrorist. To pretend that all this does not exist is of a piece with the rest of a national fantasising bent of mind which has been on display again and again.
Only a perverted imagination could conceive of a nation with known aversion to adventurism, and a known decision to stop supporting active intelligence measures from the time of Prime Minister Gujral, as having slaughtered over 200 of its citizens in cold blood to make an international point. Utterly perverted.
And try not to demean yourself by invitations to reality and international politics; considering the utter degradation of your national policies, the slavish joining of SEATO and CENTO which every single Pakistani commentator seems to have forgotten magically, the acquisition of cheap American arms, reorganisation of your Army units, active support for your Air Force through equipment and through instruction, and considering the brazen switchover to a more convenient partner when your nation thought that would pay better, and the current dawning realisation that your new partner talks a good fight but nothing more, you should be the last to talk about realism. When India sought to unite the neutral world, you were busy selling yourselves, body and soul, to the Americans. We haven't mortgaged our policies and our independence yet, nor do other countries fly their devices across our air space and kill our citizens.
you know your anecdotes remind me of the Ghabar singh dialogue. High on drama , zero on reality. I guess 3 wars + Bangladesh + Kargil + Siachen had more oil?
Fables, Local srories are nice for a certain demographic but when you get among grown ups it laughed off at
right. a defense minister knows less than the common Abooo on the streets. Per your logic - US defense minister(s) who also not a ex military are not fit to speak about military matters than the joe on the street . we should all got sit in your class of street smarts
