No, you misconstrued my post. The Hindus and Sikhs in Punjab were pragmatic, realistic and not given to the fantastic Ganga Jamuna tehzeeb that just did not exist. They were not peaceful in 1947. I agree. Which is why they have earned peace today. The same goes for you. You have cleaned the Sikhs and Hindus from your entire country - and now there are no Hindu Muslim/Sikh Muslim riots in Pakistan. Shia and Sunnis do that now - but that's not our fault.

I am saying that such a permanent transfer like in Punjab should have happened in the entire country. Many Hindu/Sikh haters stayed on in India just because they had all the property here, not because they had genuine love for the land or its customs.(of course we were idiots too) Of course, I don't wish for a complete cleansing like yours, that will be ... again - impractical. But those opposed to a composite culture and hell bent on staying the purest of the pure will be encouraged to shift to the land of the pure.

I am not saying we are saints. What I mean is, we Hindus/Buddhists/Jains/Sikhs in rest of the country have a lot to learn from the Sikhs and Hindus of Punjab.

You missed chance, now transfer remaining ones somewhere else or do another partition and don't repeat same mistake again . It's not our fault, nor our concern.

That's why one diagram was not sufficient. In Pakistan - Punjab & Sindh had Hindu population which migrated to India, now compare it with population of Muslim in east Punjab (Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh) and Delhi..... equally well done job done by Hindus and Sikhs.

I find on internet, and yes you was right, Delhi muslim population definitely dropped by large significance.

But one problem, Chandigarh city was never existed during partition.
