Corruption the curse on both countries

Corruption is a multi headed hydra, bribe is just one form. but the main head of corruption is that we people are corrupt with sinister motives of accumulating wealth, we do not share the wealth we have with the people who are in need of it.
We do not have a social and moral obligation to the society we live in. We cut trees and waste resources like food and water with no feeling of guilt.
As I said people have to evolve. we have to be social rather than bonded to the necesities that we desier for. The CUP we humans are trying to fill right now has no bottom. we have to evolve, we need free and selfless minds to be liberated from within us to see the change we wish for.

There's no such thing as the 1 child policy.

The Chinese for it is 计划生育 = Planned Parenthood (same name as the American organization that also supports population control). Nothing in its name implies "one child" nor does the policy enforce a one child policy.

I would rather not try to prove anything here unless I am forced to.

do you have any idea on how to compare numbers? its called statistics! the "number" of deaths is high because the "number" of people is high.. compare the % values for all the coutries.. and btw, its usually measured in "number of deaths per 1000 births".. india is rated 152 30.5 deaths per 1000 births (higher rank is worser performance), china is 120.. 20 deaths per 1000 and pakistan is ranked 193 - 65 deaths per 1000!

please compare apples to apples.

For India, there is only marginal improvement in from 1999 to 2009, whereas China has improved greatly. Rates for Nigeria and Pakistan have actually become worse from 1999 to 2009

If we compare India's nubers with China's numbers then you would expect India to have 3 times the number of deaths per 1000 births as China would have ((27.8/19.6)/(6.4/13.4)=2.96).
Silvers numbers suggests the ratio would be 1.5

Looking at the numbers of Pakistan and India would give a ratio of 1.22 ((6.9/4)/(27.8/19.6)=1.22). So Pakistan is expected to have 22% more the deaths per 1000 births than India.
Silvers numbers suggests the ratio would be 2.2

The difference can be explained by the following:
1. Silvers numbers are from 2010. In this case India have cut its deaths per 1000 births in halve, for which it should be applauded. (Or more sinister Pakistan and China have doubled it's deaths per 1000 births, for which the person responsable should be shot).
2. Either Silvers or IndoCaribs numbers are wrong (or both are wrong)
3. We are comparing apples with oranges.

If we go by IndoCaribs numbers then India and Pakistan are more similar, though still 22% and probably more than 5 deaths apart (but I don't know the numbers, only looking at the ratio's provided by others).
