What's new

India has highest no. of newborn deaths: UN

first look at your own country m8,stop bad mouthing india (it might not be in the ARTICLE but still )

First of all, Pakistan is not the topic here. Secondly, Pakistan is embroiled in a full international/world scale WOT. It doesn't have the resources to set up more medical facilities, or tackle that issue as of now. It is militarily stretched as it is. India, however is making progress in every field of life, yet, it has not addressed its IMR newborn deaths issue over the past few years.

. . .
I'm not bashing or anything, I'm just quoting you the article from Hindustan Times, & using their words.

yes we can read the article no need for you to quote the same thing on every page, you can just bold the part you want on the main article

It's funny that neither you, nor Vinod2070 talked one single thing about why this issue isn't being tackled in India. I find it peculiar that India has great, internationally accredited doctors that treat patients with all kinds of diseases, giving them all kinds of treatment, but somehow, they don't help India improve their NMR. Even Nepal, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka have better NMRs than India, despite being much 'poorer' than India. Is it because the Indian government is neglectful about improving medical conditions in India or something? Or is it because there is a lack of manpower & capital, insufficient for the population needs?

you never asked
its an open reason the government is incapable of implementing the necessary measures required to deal with the problem
the projects like building hospitals, providing better equipment, medicine, etc are plaged by corruption and bureaucratic approach
even the doctors and medical staff are involved in corruption resulting in giving substandard medication to the children, mother, other patients
and even today many birth take place in homes without proper medical advice so awareness must be created in those places

.
Sad to see that Child mortality in in India & Pakistani is as high as 76 & 60 respectively.

. .
Indian domestic problems are worst than whole Africa and this continue to give bad name to S.Asia.

.
Perhaps it doesn't take account of the hundreds of millions killed annually due to the forced one child policy.

The lives that are snuffed out before they could ever see the light of the day.

That on top of those who can't make the great leap or can't make iron in their backyard.

It is a foolish game trying to score cheap points on grave issues like these.

Aaj ka quota ho gaya, lick karane ka?

There's no such thing as the 1 child policy.

The Chinese for it is 计划生育 = Planned Parenthood (same name as the American organization that also supports population control). Nothing in its name implies "one child" nor does the policy enforce a one child policy.

. .
India has long way to go. No surprise China is way up. Even less surprise that Pakistan is so far behind. Somethings never change.

.
India and China are soo high up, because these 2 nations represents 30% of the World population.

Wait for 20 more years, China will be much lower down the list and India wont be last.
