please stop trolling. when india even couldn't built a air defense system on its own to shoot down incoming jet fighters using its own missiles, how india can shoot down a satelliate?

typical indian brainwash material.

sorry, but we are not as stupid as you guys, india will never acquire such ASAT weapon until it can at least develop some ground base anti aircraft missiles.

Please read up on the Akash Medium SAM.....

if you can't discuss in a civilized manner, how about just shut up?

your name calling post has been reported.

r u really talking about civilized manner????

lol, but do you what does that mean, "civilized manner"??????:hitwall:

A senior member flaming a post.

I say , go to HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!:sniper:

@ Communist,

i was trying to tell you yesterday as well, that senior member should behave , in not the way, other members do.

BUT by thanking him, you have proven that you will keep flaming Indian posts.

than be ready for this forum to turn with a lot of useless thread and posts. :coffee:

As other will respond you in the same way, you do.

:usflag::coffee:

.
What is this ? Chinese members hijacking the thread ? Instead of contributing something meaningful.

Hope mods take some action or it continues to be as usual.

.
in China slumdogs are banned... :bunny:

Racial vilification. I read on some other thread that you were fuming about the use of the word Chinki. Dare I say how can you be the one shouting at the top of your voice when you use racial words like slumdogs etc.

Communist your ideology is twisted and you are on the brink of being labelled as a hypocrite if you not already are.

Apart from that if you are the one trying to raise a banner against personal attacks then how can you attack others in the simillar manner. If you had a problem you could have reported the post to the mod ( and not answer it).

Go back to the dungeon where you came from or else take a One Tight Slap On Your Face

The goals for India's anti-ballistic missile (ABM) and ballistic missile defense (BMD) programs may be shifting to accommodate an anti-satellite (ASAT) weapon more quickly than previously planned, and this could radically alter the agenda of US Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who is currently in the middle of a three-day visit to India.

A request to shch!nese, communist and grey boy don't post off topic to derail the thread.

AKASH SAM :Surface to Air missile
Fully tested and ready to be inducted
Akash system is claimed to be more accurate than the MIM-104 Patriot as it has thrust during the entire course of its flight compared to the Patriot that has thrust only for the first 12 seconds, after which the missile coasts, thus making it less accurate.

PAD : Prithvi Air Defence (PAD)
Tested successfully on November 2006 and March 6, 2009
It is an anti-ballistic missile developed to intercept incoming ballistic missiles outside atmosphere (Exoatmosphere). Based on the Prithvi missile, PAD is a two stage missile with a maximum interception altitude of 80 km. The first stage is a liquid fuelled motor that uses two propellants and oxidizers while second stage is solid fuelled.

Advanced Air Defence (AAD)
Tested successfully on 6 December 2007
Advanced Air Defence (AAD) is an anti-ballistic missile designed to intercept incoming ballistic missiles in endoatmosphere at an altitude of 30 km. AAD is single stage, solid fuelled missile. Guidance is similar to that of PAD: Inertial Navigation System, midcourse updates from ground based radar and active radar homing in terminal phase

KALI

The KALI's potential for a military role as a beam weapon has made it, in the eyes of the people, "India's Star Wars". However, weaponisation of the KALI will take some time. The system is still under development, and efforts are being made to make it more compact, as well as improve its recharge time, which, at the present, makes it only a single use system.

There are also issues of creating a complete system, which would require development of many more components. There have also been reports of placing the weaponized KALI in an Il-76 aircraft as an airborne defence system.

Two new anti ballistic missiles that can intercept IRBM/ICBMs are being developed. These high speed missiles (AD-1 and AD-2) are being developed to intercept ballistic missiles with the range of 5000 km.[23] The test trials of these two systems is expected to take place in 2011.[24] The new missile will be similar to the THAAD missile deployed by the U.S.A. These missiles will have to travel at hypersonic speeds and will require radars with scan capability of over 1500 kilometers to successfully intercept the target.

India is also planning to develop a laser based weapon system as part of its Ballistic Missile Defence to intercept and destroy missiles soon after they are launched towards the country. DRDO's Air Defence Programme Director V K Saraswat says its ideal to destroy a ballistic missile carrying nuclear or conventional warhead in its boost phase. Saraswat further added that it will take another 10–15 years for the premier defence research institute to make it usable on the ground
