By Press Trust of India: Pakistan President Arif Alvi on Thursday accused India of following the policy of "no peace" by ignoring cooperation with his country.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the Margalla Dialogue here, Alvi said that Pakistan has been trying to come to solutions on all its fronts, and regretted that India has not been able to strike a chord of friendship and cooperation with Pakistan.

"It’s a policy of no peace with Pakistan," Alvi lamented. India has said it desires normal neighbourly relations with Pakistan in an environment free of terror, hostility and violence.

Relations between India and Pakistan have often been strained over the Kashmir issue and cross-border terrorism emanating from Pakistan.

However, the ties between the two countries nose-dived after India abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution, revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcating the State into two Union Territories on August 5, 2019.

India’s decision evoked strong reactions from Pakistan, which downgraded diplomatic ties and expelled the Indian envoy.

India has repeatedly told Pakistan that Jammu and Kashmir “was, is and shall forever” remain an integral part of the country.

In his address, Alvi said that international diplomacy can be a major tool in trying to prevent conflicts and opposed the idea of giving veto powers to emerging nations.

He urged the need to shun destructive security paradigms and doctrines in international relations, and said that the world order should be based on rules, morality and ethics for making the world a better place for everyone.

The President said that nuclear non-proliferation is a good concept but questioned why responsible nations do not reduce or eliminate their nuclear arsenals. He maintained that arms control should be led by the bigger powers.

He called for enhanced cooperation amongst countries to deal with the issues of global warming and epidemics. He said there is a need to transform and improve international institutions to respond to emerging threats.

The special session - attended by diplomats, foreign dignitaries, members of the academia and intelligentsia - was based on the theme of “Navigating the Great Power competition: Developing World Perspective”.

Who cares? - if our establishment stop messing up it doesn't matter one bit

We are doing our thing, they thier as long as long there's no fighting to destabilize the region it's all good

India will not achieve its aims vis a vis Pakistan through peace or normalisation of ties. Either or both give Pakistan breathing space to arrest it's perpetual nosedive. Ukraine war has only confirmed what India recognised after India fought Pakistan under a nuclear overhang at Kargil. A war is going to be very costly. Unlike Russia we do not have yet the staying power, nor gas and oil we can sell to willing buyers to prop up and even grow our war efforts indefinitely, and Pakistan is nuclear armed. And no more stable than Ukraine is. The current situation suits India. Never disturb an enemy when it's busy destroying itself.

We say the exact same thing with the hindutva poison tearing apart the social fabric in India

Hindutva will allow us to plot and plan deep inside india

Hindutva has united Indians in a way secularism never did. With secularism, Hindus and Muslims were anyways at each other. But the clashes were a monolithic Muslim identity versus a cleaved Hindu one on caste and language and region. Now all Hindus see themselves purely as Sanatani and nothing else where Muslims or Pakistan is concerned. And we have our ideologues like Pushpendra Kulshreshtha ji to thank for that coalescence.

Why would India do that when they can buy our sold out army chiefs?

Well in All honesty India has the luxury to do so.

Until Pakistan itself solve all the in-house issues, Pakistan is going nowhere.
A Stronger Economy is the only way, the best thing is Pakistan has a lot of potential, be it natural resources, Young manpower, which can be used, but Pakistan needs to clear out its systems first.

Topic of Pakistan is big source of votes for upper caste parties like BJP/RSS and Congress. This is the DNA of Mandal-Kamandal politics of BJP/RSS - very valuable information for think tanks for Pakistan and China.

If you do a sample survey of lower caste OBC SC ST voters of BJP, many would given reasons like
Pakistan,
Love Jihad,
Terrorism,
China etc

If you do a sample survey of upper caste voters of BJP, many would give reasons like
BJP is removing reservations (unspoken meaning putting OBC SC ST in their place),
BJP is stop religious conversion - (unspoken meaning keeping OBC SC ST in their place),
BJP is improving law and order (unspoken meaning - increasing OBC SC ST assertion, they actually dare to respond),
BJP is doing development(un spoken meaning - BJP giving exclusive contract to us upper castes, keeping OBC SC ST down below us)
BJP is protecting Dharma (un spoken meaning - BJP practically giving reservation on followers for our Upper caste Hinduism, stopping OBC SC ST from choosing other religions without caste system )
BJP will stop and evict illegal migrants form Bangladesh and Rohingya (unspoken meaning - they are not timid and subservient like OBC SC ST, they refuse to take our shit)
