INDIA FEARS CHINA MAY COPYCAT ITS MILITARY DOCTRINE

there is a strategy called Cold Start otherwise India would not make all those investments in new assets and the army wouldn't go looking for new aerial assets like attack helicopters, observation helicopters etc...these are required for their IBG's
These investments have nothing to do with the so called 'Cold Start' doctrine which is non existent. You may like to know that Integrated Combat/Battle Groups consist of armored regiments, mechanized units, SP arty, Engineers, signals, med, and the air component that includes attack and recce choppers and air defense units for cover against hostile air action. These are independent battle groups and several of them would be launched simultaneously into enemy territory.

However, a logistics support base or 'node' could be responsible for supporting two or more combat/battle groups.

In other words, equipment needs to be procured for making these combat groups strong, viable and capable of deep thrusts simultaneously. Procurement and up-gradation of existing weapons systems and equipment is a dynamic process keeping in mind the increasing capabilities of the enemy.

The current status of integrated battle group is to pair Each of the border PIVOT corps with an armoured brigade thus giving it attack capability. These brigades forward deployed can make shallow penetrations of around 10-20 km within 48 hrs. Then they stop and let the pivot corps handle the counterattack in conjunction with IAF.
The huge 3 STRIKE corps each with an armoured division take 14 days mobilization time from south and central india.

Chinese airborne division (Hunting Leopards) will just cut Indian National Highway (shiliguri corridor ) at number of places with some ballistic missile in calcutta city will be the END of cold start.....................!

That would be a cold end to India.

No offence but this is beyond ridiculous. Indian writers are posting epic bull$hit by every passing day.

In democracy anybody can say anything.Unlike china they are not govt regulated. So bear with it.

That would be a cold end to India.

Nope it would be a hot end for all of south and eastern asia.

LOL..to be effective, they've to drop a large no of soldier(over 1 lakh at least with full 3-4 tank brigades as well as multiple mech corps)without detection along with armor and arty support and air support to cut off Shiliguri corridor..because West Bengal is the home of Indian Army's Eastern command(hope you understand no of soldiers here),not to mention about no of airforce bases it holds here..do China has enough amount of transport aircraft to carry that much soldiers over Himalaya and drop it without detection??BS at best.. :cuckoo:

When a strategy is well published in public it's quite obvious it will be researched upon and the counter strategy is bound to develop. Reading these kind of article based on pure assumption is fun.

u better contact Chinese embassy at new delhi and confirm your sweet dream on chinese strategy.

china will have following plan:

At first Occupation of certain un-held tract of land or high-value targets, through a pre-emptive strike, would expose the gaps in the enemy(Indian) defence.

Chinese employment of force will be relatively small considering their political aim.

There after RRF will be employed to reach upto operational depth. It will cut shiligury corridor with a joint offensive by both BD an chinese army.

India has a military doctrine?

That's news to the world。:omghaha:

Indians don't know where the North is。:azn:

Copying a doctrine that dosent exist? Thats like super funny. IDRW has become a clear case of chronic paranoia.

I wish India could guard its secret knowledge so well guarded from the "whole" world, unless "your whole world is just china".

And there is no feeling achievement if we fooled some "chinese call-center level hackers".
