All these countries used to be under indian shadow

Now they have numerous projects with China and a avenue to balance foreign relations

India will have to trump up many more billions if they want these countries to continue balancing their relations


These countries don't need to pick anyone, they have a route now to suddenly pick up a free 1.4 billion just by hinting at projects

India not only has to push cash at these countries, it has to moderate its behaviour because the countries now have alternatives

Things thaw between nepal and india and they become friendlier

India in order to keep friendship can no longer blow and bluster it has to offer aid, funding for projects and ensure it dosent act too stupid because China is a alternative to india.

Nepal wins!!!!!

Nepalis hate Pakistanis more than Indians. Nepal is the world's most Hindu country. And KP OLi is learning that it is impossible to replace China with India due to Nepal's geography. Even while China and Nepal are "surveying" the feasibility of building a tunnel through the Himalayas, India and Nepal have just connected through rail. A lot easier when you are only separated by plains rather than mountains. China's influence in Asia is crumbling, get used to it. The only way they can stay relevant is through dictaters like Abdullah Yameen, Mahinda Rajapaksha, Kim Jong Un, and the presidents of Cambodia and Laos. Everyone else is walking away.

Correct, countries have choices. And after seeing what happened in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, countries throughout Asia have been ditching the OBOR. The fact that the people of the Maldives overwhelmingly rejected Yameen is evidence of this.
