India will have to pay a premium to get Indonesian palm oil. Rss are deluded in thinking Indonesia can produce enough palm oil to satisfy Indian and non Indian demand. Rss duds are assuming current non indian buyers of Indonesian palm oil will avoid buying Malaysian palm oil for some unknown reason.....

Rss world does not revolve around Pakistan and India. Cheaper Malaysian palm oil will be attractive to many other nations.

They knew what they could expect from India when the Malaysian PM made those statements. This PM has said that Malaysia will not take the same tone with China (for the Uighur cause) because it is too big an enemy. So it seems the Malays think that India is an adversary that they can manage.

Malaysia is an almost developed country with GDP per capita of 33,000 US dollars at PPP and still growing at 5% a year - that is how strong it’s economy is. Your economy has fallen to below 5% growth and your per capita PPP is only 9000 US dollars.
BD has an economy of 350 billion US dollars growing at 7-8% a year and so there is growing demand for palm oil in BD. Malaysia replaces some of it’s lost exports to India and BD gets the product at a good price.

Recheck my post as I added a link where BD is already talking about taking some of the lost exports to India.
India imports around 4 million tonnes of Palm Oil from Malaysia every year and BD total imports are nearly 2 million tonnes a year.
BD could take a sizeable chunk of the lost exports to India.
You sanction Malaysia, BD gets Palm oil at excellent price from Malaysia.
Other Muslim countries will of course buy more Malaysian palm oil - like I say us Muslims are slowly going to tighten the screws on India.
