Had it been about Indian style pleasing promises, Pakistan wouldn't be leading Afghanistan peace talks. The case is made where India failed to deliver under promises made to please US and rule Afghanistan. US gave access to India in Afghanistan so that Delhi will police on behalf of uncle Sam and the in lieu of that, India can harm harm Pakistan in any mean. India did the later first and UE realized the Indian designs as well as capability hence, India is nowhere to be seen in peace talks.

How can India be involved in Afghanistan ? the last time I checked they do not even have a border with Afghanistan

It's a major diplomatic change for POTUS to mention India negatively in the context of terrorism, given India's rhetoric based policy of using it to justify all its actions.

India was stuck in situation actually that you are not reading the actual cause as why India was provided with open access to Afghanistan that you refer as Human Development Assistant. Should I mention as how aid India itself receives from US in this regard for betterment back at home? Our experience was the exact point when we told India to learn but there was too much hoohaa that India was going to send even troops to Afghanistan. How about asking Modi about the promises being made to become Asian Police in lieu of services in Afghanistan. Don't forget that India already signed lot of agreements including LEMOA so better ask for the details of those agreements & the ToRS to become NATO like Ally.

We are not getting AMERICAN WEAPONS as grant or aid... we are paying for them... we are not bound to fight their war... all these agreements are AMENDED as India was not ready to sign them without ENSURING the security of INDIAN INTERESTS...

Do you remember who took down Aslam Achoo and many more inside Afghanistan and yet, who was hiring ISIS to attack Pakistan Embassy in Kabul? Speaking of peace talks, learn how Taliban denied including talks with Afghanistan puppet regime who was more of Indian friend. US didn't kick India out of place as India has already seen it coming and will do so by their own especially after success of Peace Talks. Delhi knows that the status will return to Post Afghan war with USSR.

Speaking of extremism, well there is no better example of Extremism as compare to India's condition for minorities & low caste. So instead of looking & trying to find faults in others; India would have done better if ever stick to problems at home.
