India Developing, but still a long way to go

Hey, the most iconic Jeep brand is now made and sold at ~ 15 Lakh in India. Certainly not a utility vehicle, I think it's a sign of not only how far India is coming along, but also local Maruti, Renault, Nissan, Tata, Mahindra or Hyundai etc. are no where close to the brand magic.

Tata may pls. intro an indigenous Land Rover, but again it would be a fashion, novelty or showpiece thing.

Got me thinking, if Jeep and Land Rover could compete with less pricey Indian utility vehicles or even cheaper would be a real kicker.

Actually next safari storme i.e, 2018 will be based on LR platform

Secondly, Jeep Compass doesn't score full in every aspect. I rate Hyundai Creta more in terms of cabin space, interiors and better aftermarket infotainment unit, which matches the expectation from Car Price.
