India deploys more fighter jets in Kashmir

Useless and illtimed provocation by India.

They are just trying to tease Pakistan with big machines... But why are you getting worried Indo-Pak relations are on rise now-a days after all Jardari luvs India more than other...

.
Yes agreed and one more thing that with US-Pakistan tension started to rise onan Pak-Afghan border, India is also going to jump in thats usual bunya mentality will never go.

What u expect from ur enemy.. Do you want that India should fight against US... for Pakistan.. BTW where are your Chinese firends.. why are not they opposing US...

Apart from that after recent civil uprising of Kashmiris against occupier India, now Indians have come up with new idea to kill innocent Kashmiris by bombing them.

Yeah thats very true.. All over the world Every Muslim dominated region have this problem.. Its not our faults if there is uprising in Kashmir... I never able to understand why this problem exists with you guys.. What kind of insecurity you people feel...

Have spy flights over Pakistan to transfer information to their Israeli masters as well.

Yeah.. Israel is true Guru for us..after all Israel holds Masters in eliminating terrorist..

.
I don’t understand that why IAF needs to publish such a news that has more sizzling masala value than any operational value???:undecided:

Just for teasing Pakistanis like u... Look how you guys started making it hot..

I am sorry to say but when I read such hocus pocus headlines, these just make me laugh...

India is country that can never do good to us so we dont expect much rather now we are used to their pathatic plans be it pointing finger at ISI for sneazing of Manmohan Singh :P or concocted dramas of killing innocent Muslims and implicating them in any negative activity in India.

Kashmir is not like that issue. Kashmir is an area where India is committing attrocities against Humanity.

Kashmir is an area which was forcefuly occupied your coward army which is now cowrdly killing innocent armless Kashmiris.

Kashmir is an area where your own Indian intellectuals have started accepting that it should be given freedom which is their right.

And Kashmir is an area where India has amassed billions of its troops. Still it has been pissed off despite having most advanced weapons and huge forces.

Yeah.. Israel is true Guru for us..after all Israel holds Masters in eliminating terrorist..

Just like India indeed Israel is guru in killing armless youth and armless women and childern.

Six jets! hardly enough to tease Pakistan, by the way about Indo-Pak relations on a rise, i think you need to have a reality check, there is nothing high in that other then the sensational masla in the media that we hear, people to people contact and what not. Nothing other then that. Both Nations are still where they were a decade ago, no change, the only change that we see is that both nations understand that War is not an option anymore and specially after the fact that both has nuclear weapons and therefore while both restraint themselves from open hostility towards eachother, things like proxy wars are kept alive for teasing.

So you agree that we are enemies? I thought earlier you said Indo-Pak relations are on a high. But anyways Why would we want india to fight it for us?:what: No thanks we are capable of doing it ourselves and incase you missed the news we just did. As for where is our Chinese friends, i dont think we need to provide any answers to Indians over it since you cannot understand anything beyond what GOI and your media tells you on that and the asking of such questions by you guys has only one objective in mind and that is to inflame:flame: and nothing else. So my suggestion to you is to lay off with this BS of yours and that too on a Pakistani defence forum. Try BR, your **** will sell pretty high there.

I fail to understand this move by the IAF :undecided:

The Avantipura air force base near Srinagar, does not have an advanced air-defence system. The hangers there are also not state-of-the-art, to say the least. this move will only leave the sukhois vulnerable & exposed to threats from the ground & air.

There is no need to station your spearhead aircraft at borders when at war time it could be destroyed (By cruise missiles/TBMs/surprise aerial raids/sabotage by special forces equipped with anti-material rifiles ) or at peace time it would be open for enemies to snoop in from standoff ranges.

Jana, please stop using words like 'Bunya'. It is degrading. You dont see us using words like 'P.A.K.I'. This is a reputable forum, and i would expect more from a journalist. I thought it was part of your professional ethics to refrain from such prejudiced language.

Apart from that after recent civil uprising of Kashmiris against occupier India, now Indians have come up with new idea to kill innocent Kashmiris by bombing them.

India has always stationed fighters in kashmir, but never used airpower against the kashmiris, even during the height of insurgency. I dont see why these MKIs should suddenly be used against Kashmiris. From where in the world are you deriving these theories dear?

i know you are a journalist Jana, but i really do have a hard time believing it , for your views are nothing but personal perceptions, often lacking substantial backing. Is this your approach to every issue that you have to report on, or is this just an india-centric approach?

Kashmir is a focal point of indian defense, being a state that borders both china and pakistan. India has always had a large number of fighters stationed there, ever since 1948. Besides, the MKis were always meant to be placed in kashmir and North-East. What's the point of having these fighters if we dont place them in the most critical areas?

As mentioned by others before, avantipura is neither a high-tech nor a main base. the MKIs must be placed there temporarily to assess their fighting prowess in that type of environment. or maybe india has plans to make avantipura a major base.

I dunno what gives you this strange perception that Israel is our master. if there ever was a master-servant relationship, it is Pak-US relations. the moment USA asked, pak jumped headlong into the war on terror.

If the israelis wanted info on pak, they would have gathered it themselves, or have the US do it. If india shares info on pak with israel, it is for the interest of our nation. just a brief look at indo-israeli realtions will prove to anyone that we deal with each other as equals.

i dont think its a permanent move. more like checking out the environment.

right i can see how much you are laughing after reading this news..

So do you really think that people are worried across the border? Its an unusual development (that a routine training camp and most likely a temporary deployment is announced in the media) thus the discussion. Of us all, X-man would be the one (aside from MuradK) to have a laugh about this as he has been through it (sort of like seen that, done that) type of a thing. ;)

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India has deployed its top fighter jets in Kashmir, ostensibly for better border management, but analysts said the move was aimed at Pakistan after relations between the nuclear-armed rivals soured in recent months.

A four-year-old peace process between the two countries has virtually stalled, initially because of political turmoil in Pakistan and more recently after a string of bombings in India and at the Indian embassy in Kabul.

India blamed Pakistan for the Kabul attack in July -- a charge Islamabad denied -- saying it had put the peace process in "distress".

Under these circumstances, analysts say, the deployment of six Russian-made Sukhoi-30 jets capable of carrying nuclear warheads in the troubled Kashmir region was military posturing aimed at Pakistan.

"This forward movement is part of a deterrence for Pakistan, and to tell them if they fish in troubled waters in Kashmir, India would be ready," Major-General Ashok Mehta, a defence analyst, told Reuters.

India accuses Pakistan of aiding a violent separatist revolt in Muslim-majority Kashmir, which in recent weeks has seen huge anti-India protests.

The two countries have fought two of their three wars over the disputed Kashmir region that both claim in full but rule only in part.

But Indian air force officials said the deployment of the jets was only to help with pilot training and better border surveillance.

"At the moment we cannot elaborate further on the deployment," said Wing Commander Mahesh Upasani, spokesman of the Indian Air Force. "The fighter jets will help our pilots in Kashmir. But we are not commenting further on the reasons.
