India deploys 36,000 extra troops on Chinese border

Tipping point to come. As the retired U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense James Clad had noted during his time managing US-Indian FA, the top defence U's and staff colleges in India are increasing focusing their literature on how to fight China and India's assets deployment will reflect that overtime. He also believe that though the possibility of China and India going war is minor right now, it is increasing given India's actions and it's fatalism about being China's rival.

His words not mine.

Well then he is simply wrong. By all means, India and China fought a war for the territory and China considers it as a part of their country.

Not to mention China is an expansionist power and India prefers to maintain the status-quo.

Good reference... but still I fail to see a credible threat to China from India.. we all know that a war at this time would prove devastating to both our economies and the only country which will have its last laugh is the US.

I even posted much earlier in this thread about Chinese conducting military exercises in the Tibet region...If we consider this as a act of aggression, then the things will only get worse from here. It is very natural that India will take these actions very cautiously given the history and more so I believe that better safe than sorry.

China will ignore it for now.

The tipping point will come when Indians can work itself up to actually coming across as a real danger. Whether they can reach this point without China actually participating the escalation process is going to depend on how deluded Indian thinking gets.

Apparently in India, it only takes one to tango.

China has too much on its plate....take care of North Korea or we will!:sniper:

Nothing wrong a strong india will deter foreign powers like China from acting irresponsible. Shouldn't be a problem if China sticks to its side of the border and India to its side, right?

LOL go ahead, we're not stopping you.

America has been going on about North Korea for how many years now. Then there is also Iran... as well as the conflict in Afghanistan...

You probably should let your economy stabilize though, before jumping in yet another conflict.

Cardsharp think about it. If America armed mongolia to the teeth, what would China think?

LOL that's a strange thing to say.

You do realize that the population of Mongolia is around 2.7 million? The majority of Mongolian people actually live inside China, not in Mongolia.

Whereas Hong Kong alone has a population of around 7.1 million.

Mongolia is a land lock country whose two borders are China and Russia and both of whose airspace the US will have to fly through to arm it in the first place.

Try again with the analogies.

Livestock outnumber people. Yak mounted RPG anyone?

Maybe the cubans would like a few hundred more nuclear tipped missiles :azn:

They'd probably just sell it. The Cuban are kind broke.

indian telling Chinese that China is incapable of doing anything....

I am simply at a loss for words.........

even if it were true (which it sure as all hell isnt), it seems Chinese did good job of getting indians on edge and increasingly wary and paranoid

what a stupid post

those 36,000 troops can go fight the naxal and other insurgents operating along the red corridor.......movement of these troops to Chinese border will be sure to increase tensions

that's between those countries; it's outside our locus of control. But I can say that it will prove to be a failed strategy since China will likely be able to mobilize much faster and more efficiently, in the interests of responding in kind

typical indian language towards the regional countries..........I just can't wait to see Chinese response

You say that the post was stupid and it is, i agree.

However what about the post of yours next ?? are u happy that India will go to war with China and ur work which was could not be done for years (and i know that u know that it can never be done) will happen now. This is not stupid it is sick to the core.

While i hear no comment on China's infrastructure on their side by you, it seems that u are more worried about 36000 troops on the border with China while everybody knows Chinese can move millions in hours there. Again sick thinking since u want us to not be prepared.

By all means revel in the thought of Chinese response and Indian counter actions etc since this is what u like to hear. God forbid ur thinking will never come true, since our country will never initiate conflict not because we are incapable but because there is still lot of work to be done on the development front.

If India has sincere thoughts of having good relations with China and wants to settle all disputes peacefully, then why is it:

(01) Developing and deploying ballistic missile specific for China?
(02) Why is it deploying more fighter aircraft close to the Chinese border?
(03) Why is it quietly raising divisions and brigades for mountain warfare next to the Chinese border?
(04) Why is it allowing, funding, supporting the exile Tibet Government in India?

.
To all those Chinese strategists, defence scholars and warriors u all know that Indians are cowards and have never won against foreign armies, so why worry about 36000 troops ur one soldier can defeat our whole army, navy and airforce.

Also u people don't even think that a country like India exists or if it does its a destitute country with no backbone, so please ignore our paltry actions.

I hope this satisfies ur internet egos boys.
