India denies Pakistan access to Mumbai gunman

Clearly if there is a need to find out exactly what happened - logically a joint investigation would have been paramount. Why are the Indian authorities ducking this issue?
Brother you clearly know the reason why a joint investigation can not been done, there are a lot of security reasons and questions that arise if this man is given lot of access. In case a joint investigation is carried out and the man dies of mystirios circumstances then again the blame game that Pakistani Government will do that India killed the man inorder to derail the investigation and vice versa by Indian Government.
Right now India and Pakistan has a lot of trust deficit that needs to be addressed before anything that clubs our agencies to work together.

.
So you think these terrorists had no logistics? You have to cut off the head. We were willing to work with GOI, but you guys just painted the entire nation with the terrorism brush. Immature really, since there is no guarantee these groups will not strike in India again.

That is Pakistan's problem, India has already provided more than sufficient evidence. If they strike again, we are better prepared and we aren't afraid, only patient. Who are we to demand a guarantee when your own ally and partner USA found the most wanted man on Earth comfortably living in your country ?

Ashok bhai - thats exactly my point - their will at this rate never be in our lifetime any trust whatsoever. If our nations insinuate each others guilt prior to an investigation it shows you the sad state of our countries affairs. Both sides were quick to condone yet both sides havent got the 1% trust we could share to gain the other 99% trust.
Ashok - you i think know me well enough to know i wish genuinely there was a situation arising where the wall of mistrust we have between our nations could and would come down.

at the end of the day, it should come as no surprise.....access or no access, the indian neighbours have not done a very good job at proving to Pakistan (you read it correctly) that india is WILLING to help Pakistan HELP in the investigation. From the time that the attacks took place, I think that Pakistan played the cards correctly and acted within the norm.

a crime took place, Pakistan condemned it in its highest terms. The indians havent made it very easy to carry out the investigations and instead made ridiculous demands for our side.

the indian society should ask why the indian government keeps employing delay and hinder tactics.......common sense says that the indian establishment wants to keep the issue alive for as long as possilble.....comes in handy to ward off other criticism the congress of kangaroos government often finds itself confronted with

its makes no difference giving anything to Pakistan, its not interested in solving these issues anyways so why even try and waste time. The problem will take care of itself, Pakistan is a testament to that fact.

You are absolutely right. I used to work in an office behind the Arthur Road Jail, where Ajmal Kasab is being held & there was so much of security (probably more than the security for PM himself). They want to keep him alive at any cost. Of'course we used to be annoyed because there used to be a lot of traffic problems & delays, but then the Police & the other security agencies had to do their duty.

We knw well abt Pakistan and its keen interest in Mumbai attack investigation. If u genuinely interested in controlling terrorism first handover Dawood to us , but you people won't accept he is in Karachi . Its nothing new initially you denied the presence of OBL ,IILYAS KASHMIRI etc. in Pakistan but wat is the reality? where they gotten killed?? .

Still u want us to believe Pakistan?? huh damn man.

Will you allow Indians to interrogate Hafiz Sayeed? :coffee:

.
So they can tell him what to say or threaten his family back in Pakistan? I don't think so. Tampering with the witness, you wouldn't allow a criminal to talk with their boss once arrested.
