can you tell me the difference in dealing between Indian and Pakistani Expat in Qatar? Is there a difference sets of law in term of dealing with Indians or Pakistanis ?What kind of special privileges Indian expats are deprived off as compared to Pakistanis ?Is there a different scale of salaries for Indian expats ? I mean on what basis you are saying like this ?
Qatar/ India trade amounts to 10bn in 2015-2016..No need to mention about peanuts with Pakistan here..
Qatar is soon going to launch a new airline or buy an existing one in India..Indians has better business sense unlike us they have precondition the LNG deal with investment in there country..

So at the end nothing concrete just statements...How do they get adverse treatment ? in which manner and sector ? care to explain ?
I have never seen this in GCC where Pakistanis getting preferential treatment..Would like to know this ...
Are they treated less in jobs ? do they get less preference in jobs ? do they get second treatment in hospitals? are they not allowed in certain professions ? or there is a different matrix in offices to deal with Indian vs Pakistanis ? might be grocery shops allow more discount?
Or at the airport immigration counter Indians are standing at the last or in a separate row then Pakistanis ?
LOl...even Bangladesh , Nepali and Filipinos are more in number then better treated Pakistanis in Qatar rest aside India..we are better treated but won't get more visas even..

Airlift 2.0: India to rescue citizens stuck in blockade-hit Qatar through special flights

India will operate special flights starting today to bring its citizens in blockade-hit Qatar back to India, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said on Wednesday.

“All steps necessary for timely movement of our citizens from Doha will be ensured,” he said on Twitter.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj spoke to Minister for Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju on June 19 to operate additional flights, primarily to cater to the Kerala sector as a large number of Indian nationals in the Gulf country hail from the State.

Swaraj asked Raju to operate additional flights “to Doha for Indian nationals who were not able to get bookings but needed to reach the country back from Doha.”

We'll operate addl. flights b/w Doha & Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin and Mumbai for our citizens not able to get tickets at Doha

The Civil Aviation Minister said that all the necessary steps for timely movement of citizens from Doha will be ensured, adding that he is touch with Sushma Sawarj over the issue.

Jet Airways will run extra flights between Mumbai and Doha on June 22 and June 23, and Air India Express will operate flights between Kerala and Doha from June 25 to July 8.


Air India Express will operate an additional flight on Thiruvananthapuram-Doha and Doha-Cochin sectors from 25th June to 8th July 2017.

While the Jet Airways plane is a 168-seater, Air India Express can accommodate 186 passengers Boeing 737.

It has been decided that three routes - Trivandrum-Doha, Doha-Cochin, Cochin-Trivandrum – will operate from June 25 to July 8, 2017 by Air India Express (186 seater).

India has been keeping a close watch on the situation after seven countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain cut off ties with Qatar. Due to this, there are fears that Qatar may run short on essential supplies as Saudi, which sends most of the supplies to Qatar, has closed its borders for traffic to and from the country.

Almost 6.5 lakh Indians live in Qatar, of which nearly 3 lakh hail from Kerala.

650,000 Indians send 4.2 Billion USD in remittance ($7000 per capita)
125,000 Pakistanis send 0.3 Billion USD in remittance ($2400 per capita) the samme league as Bangladesh ($2200 per capita)

Income standard of living will have similar trend,

Who is the real slave in Qatar ?

The ban was completely unjustified. The airspace their flag carrier use is international airspace that had been blocked ILLEGALLY.

This is a very commendable move by India. But take care. We all know which country, or more specially - Who is fueling this crisis in the first place. I suspect though that the Qataris would have to bow down to the pressure in the end. They really don't have have many options here.

Any country can legally block airliners from another country to fly over its sovereign territory.
It can also enforce special rules. They do not have to give a motivation.

Of course we have to send food. As the embargo gets worse and food more scarce the first people to starve will be our own. They care little for our expats. Can you imagine the optics if India let Indians in Qatar starve to death in front of the World media? The victims' families would tear down the Modi government.

Indian Establishment is well aware on whom food embargo should be done and on whom trade routes should be placed. Qatar is part of GCC and whatever events are taking place in GCC and Arab league are because of national security which even the Iranian Establishment is well aware. Indian Establishment and tribes are having religious, tribal, cultural and traditional links with the Arab Establishment and tribes. Indian Establishment stand for what Arab establishments are well aware.
