One that I will always commend Indian is their foreign policy. Which is table and independent. Unlike, Pakistan a small country cannot be so outright blunt

We have our own limitations .Perhaps Qatar might requested for some support from us .Any way half of Qatari expat populations are Indians .We cant watch them starve and this was just a humanitarian support .Our dealings with GCC is two way ,if they hurt us that will also hurt them. Our trade and economic relations are very inter connected .

All it means is that we have to be more imaginative & creative in finding an alternative. The GCC is a liability and burden to us. All they want is for us to be their enforcer. We should restrict our interactions with them and limit them to cordial relations.

India should ally with Saudi UAE and Egpyt and not with Qatar for reasons:

1. Iran camp is full of back stabbers . Iran awarded Farzad B block to russia despite promising India to give it to ONGC.

2. That Al Jazeera thing is tooo anti India specially on coverage of Kashmir.

3. Egpyt is the best anti dote of the self professed sultan Erdogan who needled india on Kashmir while on Indian Visit.

Our only concern should be economic as we don't have religious bagage as Pakistan have.

The ban was completely unjustified. The airspace their flag carrier use is international airspace that had been blocked ILLEGALLY.

This is a very commendable move by India. But take care. We all know which country, or more specially - Who is fueling this crisis in the first place. I suspect though that the Qataris would have to bow down to the pressure in the end. They really don't have have many options here.

Screw all those Gulf countries who have been spewing this venom of hatred and caused hundreds of thousands, if not millions of deaths worldwide in the name of religion and terrorism. Historically too, they have never been cordial to Indian subcontinent.

I can understand if India clears the air by saying that it is only helping out the hundreds of millions of expats in that country, but I suspect this move will only isolate India further and put millions of expats elsewhere in the gulf at jeopardy.

Your people are literally treated as slaves in Qatar, granted, many of them aren't, but quite a few of them are. Your country couldn't give a toss.

I don't think the expats in Qatar were in any immediate danger whatsoever. In fact, India is being seen to help Qatar more by breaking the blockade than helping its expats directly. And, it is not just the Indian expats that make up the numbers in Qatar. So it would have been the responsibility of all those nations whose expats were affected.

Besides, I don't have the numbers but I think there are far more Indian expats in other rival Gulf countries than in Qatar. What if other Gulf countries retaliate and send them back? Or even worse, make their living lives hell (more than it already is)?

Anyway, I hope all those smart people sitting in the South Block know what they are doing.
