LOL @ loosing Billions of dollars. That is a hypothesis by a Chinese analyst beret of all the facts. See around the world how the Chinese projects are doing and what happened to those nations, latest victim being SriLanka.
Lastly, from a strategic POV, loosing billions is worth if you can secure your interests.

I know China is felling bad. That's like 17 billion dollar project that could have very well gone to them. Had they had good relationship with India. The stupidity of Chinese is so high that even without much of issue they are able to spoil the relationship purely because of their attitude. This is a cry river thread by Chinese.

Chinese got away with lot of BS before BJP came to power.
This is primarily because they have a lot of politicians who are sold out to their agenda in India. When you have the politicians in your pocket, rest is all managing public perception, which was successfully happening before the current disposition brought down the hammer.

Chinese are confused primarily because they think they have been doing the same things they have been doing for decades & for India NOW to take umbrage at these things is something they can't digest.
The message from India to China is crystal clear. Either you are with us or you are against us. This is going to reflect more and more in all infra projects that India is going to undertake in near future.

FYI, India is on the verge of undertaking hundreds of billions of infra projects in the next decade. So, Chinese, behave or loose out - your choice.

Of course Chinese like to invest in Highly stable Pakistan, especially ultra safe Baluchistan, extremely stable Venezuela. Give me a break.
