each year they depend so much on the monsoon for their agricultural yield. their management of food storage and distribution is so poor that leads to massive starvations. They just cannot feed themselves - definitely somewhere down the line, it is a human disaster in the making! The foreign aids will be a routine every year into the next centuries.
