So what do you suggest we do wait for US F-35,

that also with no secret codes, TOT, or even spares if use against US wish!!

US did offered F 35 only after Russia offered T 50, otherwise we would have never seen stealth in our country before 2025!!

And India should never trust a nation who denies even basic ATGM Javellin because of TOT!!

Russia had given us actually more then what we deserve,

and please don't give me this bullshit of my money- Indian money all times,

there would be beeline for such 5th gen ac development partnership, everybody has money China, Saudi Arab, etc

we must evaluate the F 35 and also the F 22 to factor what the yanks are offering.....no one is going to giveTOT of a 5th generation plane when yu have nnot mastered a 4 th gen tech....even if one were to get it on a plate , we would not have the experience of absorbing what is required for sustaining life cyycle challenges.... remember we sterted with the maruti and have reached a mature level of stse in the automobile industry.....never say no to things without getting something out from the opposite side....let the US say no to the deal and not us...as buyers we can always back out.....btw all the praise of russians is ovedone.....we have payed them equally in dollars for goodies....and btw we deserve a better deal from every one let alone russians....

India should spend resources on getting the planes then something as worthless as TOT. You are correct that India is not at a stage to absorb a fifth generation technology when it's struggling with 4th generation tech. Also, only F-35 is on the table. F-22 is not for sale.

F 22 was not offered and nor was F 35 asked by us. Make an offer which they cant refuse...:0

on topic what i meant was that, India needs to be more focussed and verbal about what her requirements are.....
