India, China battle for one-upmanship at Nathu La

These activities are kind of similar to those at Korean Demilitarized Zone.

I think he is right...though I dont have any source as well,do you have any update on the tests that Army carried with AXE in Leh ??

It failed the desert test carried on Rajasthan last I know. The engine is South Korean and rest of the stuff looks good but has less substance in it.

Mahindra is to build about 215 units of Axe for an undisclosed foreign army(I thought Israel) with 15 being shipped immediately.Axe is built on a new platform , derived from existing Mahindra models. According to Brigadier Khutub A Hai, CEO, Mahindra Defence Systems "The Axe was designed with help from an overseas designer.

I am pretty confused about the development of M. Axe.

No it's not our national language.
Then you don't know about India. Hindi is one national language alongside English both of which are to be used officially. If I am Sikkimese-Bhutanese and don't mind learning Hindi (my native language is Dzongkha), I don't see why others see this as a "regional" bullying.

It is almost embarassing that we don't choose to accept a common national language apart from our mother tongues and still dwell in the regionalist mentality.

Actually Abir is correct. He is but stating a fact; that Hindi and English are official languages and India does not have a national language.

Which imho is a further affirmation of its title as a democratic nation and its motto of unity in diversity.

Couldn't they have written it in Hindi with Devanagari script? I mean it is our national language. This message could have appeared better in it.

In the IA this form of writing is called " Roman Hindi".

This is common form of communication wherein Hindi is written in a manner that both hindi & non Hindi speaking troops can read & communicate in.

Been there since brit times.

Another form of Unity in Diversity !
