India: Chennai bakery owner arrested for communal advertisement stating “No Muslim Staff”

.
Repeat its again and again- "they do don’t they"- satisfied. Your attempt has been reported for trolling- hopefully your ego does not get hurt.

report this as well

maybe Hindus want there food blessed fully by the urine of the mother cow and if a Muslim baker bakes a pudding he will not bless it with mother cows urine as he finds it dirty and unhygienic as opposed to Jain baker who revers the urine as a therapy and a blessing .so Hindu customer will feel short changed and not get he’s money’s worth as vital ingredient to he’s belief is not included

he will feel cheated and pissed off not pissed on as pissed on is a blessing and a therapy , is it not ?

Ok but what has that got to do with the topic that is being discussed- @jaibi
You are trying very hard-but hardly matters to what is being discussed- carry on with your hate and bigotory.

There may be a difference within different schools of thought. But as far as I know, an animal slaughtered by a "person of the book" is also halal. Therefore, we can eat meat slaughtered by a christian or jew as long as other provisions are met. The Shafi madhab, that is more prevalent in the Middle east, follows this ruling. The Hanafi madhab, that is more prevalent in South Asia, is the strictest, and may not allow this.

So in a way isn't this discriminatory? That only Muslims are allowed to do Halal jobs? I understand if the person is catering only to Muslim population. What happens if someone posts a ad looking only for Muslim butcher? This ad is pretty common. But what If someone raises discrimination against equality and goes to court? Will you eat Halal food cut by a non Muslim?

Jobs covered by religious functions are exempt from anti-discrimination laws.

Really? In India? I have not heard of such laws. Enlighten me.

Wow. Guess you feel too proud to be a racist fundamentalist. Good for you.

There is no direct law, but derived from the freedom to practice religion part of the constitution with non-interference of the government.

What the legal luminaries have differed on is what constitutes a core religious practice, and that is where the ambiguity and disagreements arise.

If you recall recently there was a SC judgment on the right of a Muslim air force person who was discharged because he insisted on keeping a beard. The court had to first determine if keeping a beard was an essential part of faith.

I found this to be interesting, and love Gautam Bhatia's legal prowess. Read more at:

according to the locals on twitter the plot was to defame the image of chennai bakery by rivals, rivals as of like business rivalry , so lets see outcome of police investigation. though i stand with the jains for now as per my analysis of situation.

I have got warnings , so my silence is not my weakness here mate:big_boss:
and yeah I will try to avoid you I understand that:laughcry:

Silence is not weakness, your inability to understand and follow the conversation is your weakness.
I am requesting again, please read the posts again.....

you agreeing with my point of views..but after beating around the bush. but not willing to accept it.

I dont know how and who can help you to understand.

so far have not told you anything offensive or bad, I am trying very nicely, but you want to play.......

you are getting emotional for no reason, relax and concentrate. Thanks.

.
I see what you are saying!- I myself have a few Jain friends in Sowcarpet- I know that they are very picky- All that said- Its still wrong to advertise this in a communal way- (Eguating Halal and Haram is not the right example as Halal is part of being a Muslim, we need to respect that no!)- But again the establishment should have been more tactful in their response- for example- (The kitchen folks employed meet the standards for Jains/Hindus why just pick on Muslims?-They did not mention Christians did they?)
