India: Chennai bakery owner arrested for communal advertisement stating “No Muslim Staff”

.
Maybe i am confused. i am confused how people cant differentiate in seeking non religious branding of food products and an independent app any individual can use which can free the food chain from religious grasp.
Lets just agree to disagree and move on- It was a great conversation buddy - clean and good- Appreciate that we were able to keep it civil without too much name calling.

None of it is Hindu marking.
Ok let you ask you this- How would you mark a product as Muslim complaint?

Agree,
what people here do not understand, is what will be the backlash ? Dharmic branding ?
traders bodies deciding not to keep halal products ,then distributors denying halal products ?
non religious branding will be anyday better that multi religious branding but one thing is for sure this halal monopoly will end, you can call being scared or what.

I will not mark it, simple.should i also decide what is Jain\Sikhs\Hindu \ 100's of sub-communities compliant ?
Egg or not , lact or not are food requirements not Hindu requirements.

Great- Let them also introduce " Dharmic branding" if there is a demand for the same- To me personally I dont care if it is Halal/Kosher or not- But it does for Muslims/Jews - Thats the difference...Its not a one size fits all!

It is not great , it is similar to vegetable vendors putting saffron flags , it will simply lead to economic boycott of many people.
you maybe aren't aware of ground reality in India.

They put up saffron flags in order to not get thrashed by Hindu goons who roam the streets picking on Muslim vendors.

Have lived 3 years in Tamil Nadu ,Chennai, Trichy etc
found it to be more orthodox than so called "hindi belt"
Nope you have not- I lived there for 25 years (Before moving to the USA)- and visit every year. TN as a whole is very secular compared to the rest of India.

Do BJP have a chance in TN?
Hell no!- TN has to have an alliance to form Gov- The 2 Major Parties in TN are DMK and AIADMK.
