Lets assume it's China that is vying for member ship and it's India who is in the P5.. Would India allow it ?

India is not seeking entry at the cost of existing members. Her basis for entry is based on principles and India and China both qualify on similar parameters. Its imperative today that UNSC includes Brazil, India, Germany and Japan and after sometimes a nation from Africa. Its not a matter of settling personal scores. geopolitics in our own terms.At that time UNSC would be simply powerless to influence us.India is already doing some reforms in diplomacy where diplomats would become more offensive from these defensive posture.When that is finished with combined might of diplomacy,economy and military .We will move our own way peacefully.
Then another NSG waiver type issue will happen.At least two decades would be enough.

It's not a case of appeasement mate.. It's a case of status quo.. Nobody in that P5 will be willing to upset the applecart.. Why would they ? What can India give for the US to push their case ? What is the compelling case they have over Germany and Japan to present to the US ?

Also even in an hypothetical but highly unlikely case where they do go for reforms, And India does get precedent over Germany and Japan and the US does push the case in the UNSC, Still other four have veto's, And just one veto will be enough to throw it out

China in the 2001-2004 had a far more robust industrial capability than the current India.

Lower caste people have a lot of reservations and benefits from GoI.And they still follow their own identity and culture.But you guys flood the Xinjiang and Tibetwith Han Chinese and suppressing and destroying their own identity .First you should clear your own mess then talk us about responsibility .In
