On the other hand, blasphemy is state sponsored in Pakistan and part of your constitution with Grand Canyon sized gaping hole to be misused to settle scores.

The cow is equally sacred to some Hindus as the Bhagvad Gita or Koran.
Are you going to tell them that it’s not?, because they will tell you that the Koran is simply words on paper and the Prophet was simply a man.

Personally, I don’t care much for the cow as I eat it, and I believe the bhagvad gita and Ramayana has its positives and negatives. I’ve been a big critique of the depictions of Ram as a god as I don’t agree with many of the actions as displayed in the Ramayana. Trust me I don’t get bothered with such things. And I’m more than open to debate on those.
Religion has to continue to evolve and it can only happen by questioning it. There is no perfect religion.

Actually I follow that principle for India as well.

I don't care what Indians do in their house. But don't claim to be a secular country, when there are cow vigilantes killing Muslims, okay.

We have special love for our parents and close family, does that mean they are objectively the absolute best ever? So it is the same thing with our country of birth.

How you then perceive everything else is pretty subjective. Onus is on everyone to address their faults the best way they can with the people that realise it (and somehow can handle those that do not or even justify or support the faults). Shiv Sena is definitely a cancer in ours...the dialogue really is silly if we compare cancer A to cancer B wondering which is worse....when we should be fixing to cure/rid the cancers over time!

Point is .. you do have some religious bans in your country to preserve your religious teachings or respect .. but that poster is going all crazy on muslim countries to implement pardah or islamic rules . Interesting point. You say cows are as sacred to Hindus as the Qu'ran is to the Muslims.
I do no think that is a right comparision.
