Again came with such backdated stuff.... Bangladesh GDP is based on 1995 base year which does not count bulk of the economy. It has been said time and time again Bangladesh's GDP is underestimated. With up-gradation of base year it will be close to 1200 usd.

With 40% underemployment, Poverty in BD is close to 60%. Now with per capita income of Just $750, more than 95% BD are living under $2 a day.

If whole population lives on $2 a day than Per capita income will be $730.

With that much per capita income...I guess 98% BD are living under $2 a day.

Just want to include bulk of the woman are not employed even they do not try to get employed so they are not counted in unemployed in India. But in Bangladesh woman also do work what ever it is. Definitely a woman can not do full time employment for her family. Under employment rate is mostly related to the woman's employment. In India for sure the rate is much higher.

Please dont show your education in an international forum. All the international organization uses a similar base for defining poverty which can be $1 PPP or $1.25 PPP or $2 PPP.
