India, Australia to strengthen defence ties to contain China

. .
You completely missed my point. A pure businessman will only do business, not politic. There are no influence for China in any part of the world beside the one they have Military Support.

Business man see the world as a big market. There are no influence except, you might had already guessed it 'Money" which influence their decision. However, you cannot call yeah China is a big market so Everyone should be Eyes on China, yes, China is a big market, up to a point when dealing and doing business with China is still profitable. If not, you move on. No matter how big the market in China is, you cannot beat the world on this.

As I said, Supplier need a Market, but so is the market needed a supplier, you cannot say your market is the biggest and you will have a better influence on others.

In short, you cannot mix political influence to business, this is what you will be killed. Doors can be close at any time, you need to know when to move on and how, and that's not just true to people dealing with China, but true to China itself. You want people invest in you, you have got to change too.

In today's day and age, political influence follow the money trail. And the more money you have, the more influence. You get the point that businessman would do business where the money is. And there is a consensus upside on where the money would be in the next 10 years, China. So you can go into minute details about economic theory and the motives of businessman. But the fact that China will be in the forefront of minds of businessman is a indisputable fact. And this is so because no where else will there be a bigger growth. And China will lead the growth not by percentage, but in absolute terms.

@armchairPrivate, you are being too harsh bro and watch your langue too because moderators might not take kindly to it. Also my inde peeps don't deserve this much hate though this thread does appear to be a genuine breeding ground for trolls.

Now back to topic, If china can improve her human rights record and focus on global trade in peace and harmony then I would not mind China's peaceful rise as it does not bother me. Plus we have millions of Canadien chinese so this might give us a boost in trade with special benefits hopefully for the countrie down the line eh @ChinaToday ;)

Well, I see where you are coming from, but the point is, Political Status is the one that's killing Business. Red Tape, Bureaucracy and Corruption. As I say this a thousand time, yes China is a big market, and where the money is banking in. But does that mean we need to follow China and their way of life? No.

Look at Japan, Japan was once the BIGGEST EXPORTER there were in the 80s and 90s and the economic invasion and such and such. Political shift alone bought down the whole Japanese Economy, not that Businessman are not willing to invest in Japan anymore, but the Political Entity that make the market harder and less profitable.

China now is like Japan in the 80s, how to write what road you are walking in is still yet to decide. Yes China have the Market, and Yes Chinese have the money, but the fact remain, Businessman will only see China is a viable market until the point doing business in China is less profitable than doing business else where in the world, and that day is going to come if China keep their dominance theory and start demanding concession and influence. Just like the Japanese did in the 90s.

Don't ever think China is a big enough Market NOT TO BE IGNORED. Compare to the world, any market is ignorable. Unless you're claiming China can united the world under Chinese banner, then what I said is not true.

People know Chinese will know this is not Machine Translated Chinese, honestly I cannot translate this into Hindu to you as some word in this sentence does not appear in any logical Chinese dictionary, this is how we "TALK" in Chinese

IF I have to translate it to English, the best is "hmmumm.........you are very freakin' funny"
